+1. She is a natural striker. The last goal that she never gave up on and caused the GK into making a mistake.

Some of the men that play and just loiter about waiting for something to happen could learn a few things.

No question Sam is a prolific goalscorer, but her actions especially a captain and what she said after the brazil game is disappointing.
Homility, respect and humbleness is something she was lacking.
It suggests that maybe interviews after games to players who are still emotional is not a good idea.

Yes she was being trolled on social media, but in today's society, the tall poppy syndrome is whats all the rage.

Good to see Kerr back on the scoring boat again four goals last night and at last playing in her normal position in the centre of the attack, where she always performed under Stajic.

Overall the Matildas are still not performing to their previous level, as Jamaica are nowhere near as hard to beat as the teams who have progressed from other groups.

But the defence is still hopeless as they were torn apart at least five times by the Jamaican forwards and it was just poor finishing that limited them to just one goal.
