If Messi doesn't really perform I think Barca are way past their best, but Liverpool were comfortably the better side over the two legs. Hoping for an EPL final. Well, praying actually, not that I believe in God. Except on a bottle of shiraz golf course where he/she's a prize champagne most of the time.

In a way, I'm glad Spurs won the way they did. At least this way, given the comeback and emotion following Liverpool's win, both have effectively played their emotional "grand final" so will be equal footing, psychologically anyway. :wink:

Lack of regular competition against quality teams is the biggest problem in Scottish Football, always has been really, except for a couple of periods in the 1960's & 70's.
