Thats a fair call i guess from people looking from the outside.

A lot of people hadnt expected us to pick up too many points so far this season, and to be honest with the amount of injuries weve had (6-7 first 11 a's players!), weve maybe surprised ourselves.

But despite everything, weve battled hard for our points and have shown determinaton and spirit not shown in previous years. But its still very early days

I play for the Gully & in Round 1 we only drew with you guys 3-3 at home. I actually said afterwards that the Raptors will take some points off other teams in the league: 2-1 win away at Vista & a 3-2 win away to the Beach. It is definetly early days but there is some promising signs for you lads i would say. 3rd after 5 games is a solid effort i think hay!

I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Mate, gathering you are a Eastie!

Been watching the games on the sideline and been wondering how you guys are top of the ladder??? Won't take long until you are shoved back down the ladder to indicate the poor quality of soccer you actualy play!

You think we are playing that bad at the moment??? Most games we have played we have mainly dominated the game. We are playing much better than in previous year and i think we have stepped up to the challenge of div 1. Are you saying we haven't deserved our wins so far??

@ Iokua

You are a fulham player I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. If that is the case you have probably only watched one game. A game in which we won 1-0. I personally think a fairer scoreline would have been 3 or 4 nil. You guys were extremely ordinary and we completely dominated the play. From the teams I have seen play this season my prediction would be that Fulham will be playing in div 2 in 08.

And what makes you think theplayeryouneed is an Eastie Boy. I saw nothing in his post to suggest that.

It's unfortunate the everyone elses opinion on how well Pontians should go in DIV 2 is translated into the club having an ego.
Don't actually recall anyone from Pontians stating that the championship is a done deal. Yes it has been said by GE that we will be very competative and expect promotion but with the current playing roster that's to be expected. Nothing wrong with being confident!!!

Don't think we were egotistical last week against the Vikings...game was played in great spirits. Expect the same this week against West Beach good hard football on the pitch and plenty of beers after :D

whatever!!!!

its a tipping comp you muppet, do you think cos i tipped against them that that will affect the outcome of the game.
perhaps they'll play harder and with more of the above mentioned this week and prove me wrong???????
