Face it, thousands of non famous people die every hour, it’s just how life and death is. If they’re friends or family, you should be sad, otherwise this faux grief and virtue signaling means bugger all. I bet Gary Lineker is distraught.

I personally didn't know him, but a tragedy occurred and an innocent life has been taken too young.

Good point - and there is also the player agent fees in all this that may require sorting out. It could be a tangled web here.

Nantes are owed the money. No debate needed.

Cardiff would have insurance on this, all players are insured for whatever reason they can no longer play. However, was the pilot paid to fly him?.If yes, then the insurance may be void.
