Saw a bit of the vision from Farm....I think officials or leagues need to put something in place so that fighting-squabbling over who takes the ball out of the goal net after a goal....observed a few times this year and it seems to cause a lot of anger.
Not sure how...maybe the attacking team should leave it be and the referee should encourage urgency in getting the ball back to the centre for the kick off.

Re: Sunday Div 1 - who will win
What I find amazing is not matter how quick they rush back with the ball, it is still up to the team that conceded to go about getting the game restarted.swannsong wrote:Saw a bit of the vision from Farm....I think officials or leagues need to put something in place so that fighting-squabbling over who takes the ball out of the goal net after a goal....observed a few times this year and it seems to cause a lot of anger.

Maybe attacking team (goal scoring team) should get kick off, for being just that attacking...Just sayingRaich Carter wrote:What I find amazing is not matter how quick they rush back with the ball, it is still up to the team that conceded to go about getting the game restarted.swannsong wrote:Saw a bit of the vision from Farm....I think officials or leagues need to put something in place so that fighting-squabbling over who takes the ball out of the goal net after a goal....observed a few times this year and it seems to cause a lot of anger.

Ive always liked that idea (like in the NRL for example) but will never happen. FIFA will never change that law of the game in my opinionlegga wrote:Maybe attacking team (goal scoring team) should get kick off, for being just that attacking...Just sayingRaich Carter wrote:What I find amazing is not matter how quick they rush back with the ball, it is still up to the team that conceded to go about getting the game restarted.swannsong wrote:Saw a bit of the vision from Farm....I think officials or leagues need to put something in place so that fighting-squabbling over who takes the ball out of the goal net after a goal....observed a few times this year and it seems to cause a lot of anger.

Brahma win, Downs win....Downs Champions, Brahma 2nd, Farm 3rd.
This is how I think it will finish. Farm drop last two games of the year
after not losing all year and miss out on winning the league again
