like the simpsons episode when all the guys walk up to the brand new car and a skanky looking chick is standing there, they sign up and go" Do you come with the car" "Oh you, hehehe......."Do you come with the car"."Oh you hehehe" that kind of laugh!!!!

totally agree bad support for fellow clubs when teams arrive with their own beers, mind you they don't get paid down at vista-land so i guess its to be expected.Zola_25 wrote:Vista finally have a major sponsor Eskys are us

Re: Vista Vs Gully Result Prediction
Keep ME quiet? Such a thing has NEVER been done! I'm a bit late joining all the banter on here due to my anger management classes taking so much of my time. Who knows, Crazy might once again pull on the #4 and dust off the sweat band and crack some skulls on Sunday.

So i wanna be a wanna be, is that what your saying.
however going on some of your posts i'd say your older than the other modbury sister soccer club players. i'm guessing your 15 maybe 16?

Well as this is just my 2nd year at the Vista it will be only my first of these local derby's. Im very much looking forward to the contest and it is probably the game that i have most looked forward too since being at the club. With all the ex vista players at the gully now its gonna be a close one and hard to pick what kind of game its gonna be.
In my opinion i reckon itll either be a pretty free flowing game with plenty of goals or a tight contest with a 1 or 2 nil win. Either way its gonna be very much talked about and am looking forward to next weeks forum too!!!
My prediction - Vista 2-0

cheers 4 the beer and chat.
good game by the lads, coulda been more but happy to take the points and score.even though people saying our keeper didnt have any saves to make i thought he was one of our best as the amount of times he came and took the ball out of the air and distributed well was to his credit.very high free kick count today didnt think the ref was that bad cept 4 the colour of one card!

Vista boys
Vista need to look at today’s game and consider there individual performances, to me they looked flat and unimaginative. Big game boys should have been up for it! Never looked like scoring. Good player but did not play as a team today. Vast improvement required.
In answering Mr football's questions from above, your right mate I dont hate everyone at Vista. Almost everyone 2day said hi and also said congrats to me after the game. There was only a few people who didnt say anything to me but im not going to lose sleep over them thats for sure. We got what we come for & i felt we deserved the win. Cheers lads
Makes that paycheck even sweeter doesn't it mate?Ronnie#10 wrote:In answering Mr football's questions from above, your right mate I dont hate everyone at Vista. Vista were out played and muscled. As its been said, players yesterday could not take ownership of what was going on.....leaving it to the rest to try and do something. Vista lacked passion and the want to win and with Vista's touch being shocking(mine very much included) didn't look at a pretty game. Good banta taken well by both sides, ref kept a lid on the game which was needed in a derby game, even though decisions didn't go as wanted sometimes, he didn't let the game slide into a fight which could easily be done is derby games

It was a VERY bitter pill for me to swallow yesterday, and I now regret not picking myself for the reserves, too many people full of tough talk, then not delivering on the pitch. I must congatulate the Gully, you deserved the win in both games. Special mention to Pete Mac who ran his heart out for the reserves and took his goal well. And credit to Glenda, it took guts to play as well as you did when you came on and have to listen to a load of abuse! Well done boys.

I thought so Spellow & I understand why you were quiet after the games yesterday. Maybe you should've picked yourself. I thought Sids, Phil & Scotty on the left played well though. Pete played well in both games and he did run all day, His goal was nicely finished 2. I wanted to show some heart for my new team so thanks for the credit mate its much appreciated.

Both you and Macca caused us some headaches Ronnie - well done. Speaking from the Bs perspective we definitely struggled with Maccas running and your left midfielder's pace. Also Choppy (or what ever his name was) up front with the grey hair was a handfull. Cheers - we'll see you later in the year.Ronnie#10 wrote:I thought so Spellow & I understand why you were quiet after the games yesterday. Maybe you should've picked yourself. Ronnie. You did well yesterday to keep your head. I would have said hello after the game, but didn't get the opportunity. had a good chat with your coach though! I dont think I've ever been on the winning side against him.
All the best mate! But hope Chelski win on Saturday night and then the Reds to win the big trophy next Thursday morning.

Thanks Happy I tried to play my own game which i feel i did. Cheers for noticing. Its ok i didnt think you ignored me on purpose anyway. I saw you guys having a yarn to Frenchy. He's a good coach actually were playing good football under him i think. Hopefully Utd knock off Chelsea and it will be no silverware this year. Liverpool will go close to AC. Good luck again & cya for the return leg
