Another cricket australia cover up. Nothing changes. Give it a week and australians will be saying they don't cheat. Some are already trying to defend it.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a payout prior to the ashes.

Sandpaper compared to dirt
Team conspiracy compared to one bloke
Cover ups compared to coming clean
Lies compared to truths
But in answer to your question, No.

Re: Aus v Sth Africa
ohhhh shut up Hawksey.....
Marcus Trescothick admitted in his autobiography, Coming Back to Me, that he used mints to shine the ball to produce more swing. Aus lost the 2005 series if anyone who is actually a cricket fan can remember.
Bowlers Stuart Broad and James Anderson were accused of ball tampering by rubbing the ball on the ground with their spikes in the third Test Match against South Africa Nasser Hussain, who had captained Anderson, said: "Stuart Broad and James Anderson were wrong to behave in the manner they did and I've no doubt that if a player from another country did the same we'd have said they were cheating.

You'll rarely find two separate incidents exactly the same. I remember the old saying when I joined the banking industry - there are no degrees of honesty.God is an Englishman wrote:Yes, exactly the same
Cheating is an act - what the Aussies did was terrible, we all know that but if you want to label all Aussies as cheats, fine, all poms are cheats too then. Silly isn't it.

The deflection from some of you is funny though.

Re: Aus v Sth Africa
Deflection? You might want to take a step back and understand that players involved will be dealt with hard, and therefore commensurate with the crime. That is, others have tampered with the ball, got much less penalty, which is right considering the circumstances.God is an Englishman wrote:I don't believe I've ever said ALL aussies.Bomber wrote:You'll rarely find two separate incidents exactly the same. Funny how the Saffers, who have done this a few times, sit there all high and mighty like they're so innocent and so shocked.

Re: Aus v Sth Africa
Have the Saffers lied about it? Have they created something to try and cover it up?
The fact you try and say others have done it etc.. is worrying. When it comes to ball tampering, this is the worst one of all. Not just that but it's shown that people who have said it's happening have been right all along.

Re: Aus v Sth Africa
Do you ever listen to yourself? In essence, you're saying ok to cheat as long as its on certain terms. The Saffers aren't going to lie about something the cameras have picked up on, just like how the Aussies came clean after they knew they were caught. Yes, the Aussies one was worse as it was pre-meditated, but please, your "mercy" with the saffers who have been guilty of ball tampering on numerous occasions is showing your bias up way too much.God is an Englishman wrote:Have the Saffers lied about it? They didn't come clean, they lied about it and claimed it was just sticky tape.
You even have said yourself that it was worse. You agree with me.

something is still not right......
warner failed to answer specific questions about who else was involved and the role each party played....
redemption will be impossible unless there is full disclose......unless theyre going to make up for lost income by selling the story to the highest bidder....
