Trinity football gets elevated to Federation level

Yes it's true after a lot oif meetings between the SAFA and Trinity Collge there will be a new addition to FED football next year with Trinity FC submitting 2 teams U/15's and U/17's. This move should of definitely happened along time ago and it would be great to see Trinity's great tallent be excelled against such teams as Metro stars and Para Hills.

It defeats the purpose of clubs existing if schools enter the fed competitions

Trinity has been knocking on the door for many years and next year will be a ground breaking year in South Australian Football.

if its true, thats an interesting development as ive expressed a similar interest about 3 years ago at the school im at.

however, there is an issue of inequity!!!

schools are on the whole, funded by the government (both state and federal), whereas clubs are not. this puts clubs at a disadvantage as they wont have the $$$ resources to compete with schools let alone rich colleges.

I go to trinity and have heard nothing about this. Noone plays for the school at the moment as everyone plays on a saturday. I dont think it will follow through and if it does the whole college will refuse to play.
