The first Brazilian Soccer Schools Grassroots programmes will commence in Adelaide on the 21st May at O'Sullivans Beach Sports & Community Complex. The response to the first programmes has been overwhelming with over 40 children from the Southern Suburbs registering. The first Monday 10 - 16 year old programmes are now fully booked and players are now on a waiting list for the next courses in 2008.
There are however still places available on the Thursday night programme for 5 - 9 year olds which runs at O'Sullivans Beach Sports complex from 5:30 PM to 7 PM. These players are also being offered the opportunity to participate in the Futebol de Salao World Cup in Hong Kong during October. This will be the first of many overseas competitions that BSS members will be invited to attend. If you are interested in attending the Thursday night Grassroots Programme or the Hong Kong tournament then please email for further details at d.graystone@icfds.com
Those of you interested in learning more about Brazilian Soccer Schools as a coach, Nick Dimovski the Australian Technical Director will be running an evening coaching seminar in Southern Adelaide on Thursday 31st May.
