Re: ‘The Championship’ Australias 2nd Division.
Man. How old are you?
I remember Gordon Schwartz but Blair.
That's one from the wayback machine.
If Foxtel get the Championship TV rights expect it to be a N and S division round robin held at empty midweek venues within 10km of Sydney or Melb CBD over a three week period to reduce production costs and force a Syd Melb blockbuster.

I am young enough.
I should be controlling soccer in SA.
The young ones do not know how to run it.
A JD topic bagged a disgrace fn .

Fact.
It took ages for the first WC goal to be kicked.
Ever.
That is obviously the best ever.
Because it was the first ever.

Re: Remembrance Round

History is so interesting.
There have been documentaries debating different world politics outcomes if this or that happened.
Eg
-would Europe have been better today if Germany won WW2?
- would SE Asia be better off if Japan won the WW2 Pacific war?
- would Japan gone to war if accepted after WW1 to join the G7?
- would Germany have gone to war in WW2 if the payback deal n WW1 was better?
- If the USA did not go to war on WW1 and WW2 would the outcomes be different?

what has the price of beer to do with utd threatening to leave hindmarsh. just asking.

The price of beer etc has plenty to do with it.
That is why many of us do not go to watch live sport.
Today at any venue an imperial pint of full strength beer should not be more than $5 price point .

Re: United Threaten To Leave Hindmarsh
John, AU do not control prices at Hindmarsh. They put on an event but have to pay excess for the privilege. You are trying to compare your homeland where wages are very low and can not be used as a barometer. In this state our code of football does not receive the same support as other sports. The A League is a major summer sport yet a competition like Sheffield Shield does get more support. I am sure the Redbacks do not pay rental of AO as much as AU pay for Hindmarsh. Lets not forget the Sate Government paid out the SACA's debt as part of the AO deal.johndedes wrote:Shoot goal

Ok I understand .
Just making a price point.
Or go watch a local NPL match and pay $7 a stubbie.
Ridiculous .
