Australia v Honduras on Ch9 main station 7.30pm Wedn 15 Nov
Surprise surprise, the lure of ratings has Ch9 showing the game on its main station. I thought they would bounce it to a secondary channel in favour of Family Food Fight and a Yankee movie.
Wonder if any Adelaide eastern ‘burbs pokie baron pubs who sneeringly/proudly proclaim “we are an AFL foottee pub, mate” when requested to put soccer-football on their giant screens will bother to do so..
ps, Some (un-named) forumites on here might prefer a repeat of the England v Brazil game on another channel..
pps, the bas.terd money men (bookies) at least have OZ $1.58, Draw $3.00 & Honduras $6.00.

Nope. You’ll keep an eye on the live stuff from Syd.erny. You’ll already know the result of the meaningless friendly.God is an Englishman wrote:Completely agree, I would rather watch the England game.Con M wrote:ps, Some (un-named) forumites on here might prefer a repeat of the England v Brazil game on another channel..

Family Food Fight fans unhappy that their program got bumped to Thursday.
Channel 9 Execs anticipating a ratings bonanza of over 1 million viewers on their main station for Australia’s final World Cup Qualifier.

I just hope we win and win well, mainly so everyone can give Grosso the bird even louder.

Channel 9 well pleased they shoved it onto their main station. Easily won the evening time slot with 1,160,000 viewers for the game. And a further 260,000 watched it on the Fox channel.
Yet on soccer-football’s night-of-nights, the boofheads on the arvo FiveAAFL radio program just kept reading out texts potting the game and repeating texts saying how “they would rather watch a 7th division aussie no-rules game”. Deekheads!
