Green United Forfeit Behaviour
We played Green United this weekend and had their B Grade not bother to show up for the game. We contacted them at 1pm and were told they were only sending their A Grade. On arrival their A Grade seemed to find it amusing that we were annoyed. Our B grade were kitted up and ready to play and very upset to not get a game. Anyone else had similar issues with them this year.

Same thing happened to us (Aldinga) with MU Stars Sean.
A full team of 13 to 14 players rocked up at 12:30 sat in their cars, we kitted up, warmed up and took to the field only for them to tell our ref at 1:10pm that they had chosen to forfeit.
The same players then played in the A grade. Takes the P155.

Saw them walk off the pitch mid game in the A's earlier this season. Didn't like the ref's decision so they stormed off.

The SAASL is flying at the moment. So much more professional than FFSA

When are you going to back up your claims of racism?Sean's wrote:We played Green United this weekend and had their B Grade not bother to show up for the game. We played them at their ground, in The A's one of their players called a Grove player a White Dog, referee heard it and sent him off for his racist remark, they didn't like the decision so they all stormed off, the referee called the game as there wasn't much time left. As we were about to leave the ground, they started fighting between themselves so we hung around and had a few beers and watched that for a bit.

Same happen to us. We just had a training session there and then our b's coach had to ref the game as they only had 13 players there.
You could say the same about southern breakers tho. How many times did they forfeit a b's game this season??
Teams like this make the lower league's a joke.

the league must be at fault for not vetting these teams before they even allow them to compete. perhaps the govt money is too hard to resist. so much so that bona fide teams who observe the rules then have to put up with this kind of kraaap.

Nah not rubbish .. just telling you for the 1432 time that the government money given to the SAASL had to be returned but why would you want to remember that .. your constant bigoted views would be blinded by that ... as for your constant attack on politicians im sure your club is happy of the time and effort Chris Piction to which your club has benefited from ..theorakle wrote:the league must be at fault for not vetting these teams before they even allow them to compete. perhaps the govt money is too hard to resist. so much so that bona fide teams who observe the rules then have to put up with this kind of kraaap.
Re: Green United Forfeit Behaviour
so mr passit do you think the conduct of these type of clubs is acceptable. I do freely confess that I hate all politicians with a passion and regard them all as career criminals. particularly the swine who made a quick quid selling the repat hospital. the league was well run for years with no trouble but with the advent of these certain teams who are laws unto themselves the league should vet them before they allow them in if for no other reason than to protect their own cred and the leagues reputation. anyway have a great xmas and hope to see you at seaford on boxing day where we can have a drink and continue this conversation. cheers.

there has been a number of clubs that have had incidents over the history of the SAASL ... you just want to focus on clubs with a certain background ...
I condone the actions and wish the league would act harder and swifter ...

In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside - Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.
