Just settle for 3rd place, it's as good as you are likely to get given the money some other clubs have at their disposal.

I'd settle for third at the minute (this season). We will always dare to dream for no 1, its in our DNA.Old Master wrote:The Kop wrote:+1The Kop wrote:Liverpool gonna liverpool......

Is that because you, all but mathematically, can't make 2nd spot anyway?Bomber wrote:I'd settle for third at the minute (this season). We will always dare to dream for no 1, its in our DNA.

It's Liverpool, the ref's love them.ozzie owl wrote:How was that not a penalty to Middlesborough and Red card to Lovren?
And it helped to keep Arsenal out of the Champions League so I think it was a great decision

It's taken an inordinate length of time to get there, but there's finally going to be charges laid over Hillsborough.

I was only just watching a show on it the other week on fox.
This could get messy legally, financially and emotionally for a number of people.
Hopefully justice can be found without to much downside for others.

Re: Liverpool
IMO it would be hard to place fault because there were so many factors involved that contributed to it. But some people could/should have done things differently IMO and now some will have to face questions in a court of law.

Re: Liverpool
Wank penalty, great free kick and a lucky deflection. They'll probably lose 3-0 at home

Not off hand but probably "it's never their fault" or something to that affect.

Re: Liverpool
Spending big on Keita and still chasing Lemar and Van Dijk apparently, does this mean Coutinho is gone or have they won the pools?

Some moaning from Liverpool fans and the manager about Mane being sent off.
His foot was at head height, surely that is dangerous play and worthy of a red?

Re: Liverpool
Keeper coming out of his area as such places himself at risk and to me it just looked as though Mane was trying to win a ball he was entitled to go for. Yellow card offence for me but what's done is done. Get on with next game.Nice One Cyril wrote:Some moaning from Liverpool fans and the manager about Mane being sent off.

He was entitled to go for it....
Yep. Yep.
But he kicked the keeper in the head. Above is irrelevant. Red card. Most see this except Liverpool fans. Wonder what their opinion would be if it happened at the other end.

I think the 'keeper was a bit soft given he only had a few scratches to show for it.Sunny Vanilla wrote:His eyes were on the ball...

It was a Yellow Card challenge, because if Mane's foot hadn't dropped the 'keeper, and Mane had been bowled over, the 'keeper would have been given a Red card for a foul outside his area.
As it was the 'keeper got off with a dangerous foul by acting as if he was dead and the Referee fell for it.
