Yes.. we are making other teams make these mistakes.
Bill Shankly at Dixie Dean's funeral -
'I know this is a sad occasion, but I think that Dixie would be amazed to know that even in death he could draw a bigger crowd to Goodison than Everton on a Saturday afternoon'
Why are Easties to blame for others losing points?
If you break the rules you are penalised.
Can't penalise one team and let another team off with the same offense

They originally sent out the wrong ban date. Brahna didn't play the guy on the correct date. Brahma are actually being punished for having correct records.

Wouldn't the correct date be the one that they advised by correspondence?

That is apparently the discussion that is in place. SAASL have admitted their error and that the game the player missed shoild have been the correct date.
I think that certainly muddies the waters significantly.

I think SID is referring to his former golden boy at Modbury, who lined up in the middle of the park for Vista on Sunday. As far as I'm aware he was not registered with anyone this year, therefore allowing Vista to sign.

Are brahma relying on what is published on the website or the email correspondence?
Have seen Gardens awarded points from Vista game a couple weeks ago. Did also notice that an Inter player was on the susoended list on SAASL and played on weekend, was also one of the send offs. The league need to clear these situations up. Could be a third game in Div 1 where points are awarded to another team.

Agreed. Should flag up in that instance. Especially an honest mistake like this one where the player doesn't even know he is registered. Not like it was attempted to be hidden or be dodgy.

Maybe I have. I thought Michael was listed in the team Sunday?

Unfortunately with the 'no communication' issue between the FFSA and SAASL, the onus is on the player to (a) know whether or not they were registered for another club, and (b) for the player to inform his/her new club that they were or weren't. (I guess the new club could also do some checking, but around the transfer window time things are often done in haste) Without that information, other clubs will look for the oversight for them...
