Re: Vista v Gully Round 5
The Mole, do i know you buddy? Only my mum calls me Michael...!The Mole wrote:Well well whats the banter going to be like this week then hey?
both had cabernet results today and both playing cabernet at the moment.
rumour on the ground is that mike james has been saving himself for this one, will you be playing up front or sweeper michael?
i hear you fancy yourself to grab a few goals? but your coach is thinking of playing you as sweeper.
might even take this game in on my rounds
I've neither been playing upfront or sweeper this year. With my athletic fitness I have been in midfield!! But got hacked today at Pontians and had to come off injured. Hope the body heals in time for this weekend. You can send flowers if you want

Certainties for this week's derby
1. Gully to pump their first possession long down the field
2. Referee to miss several off the ball fouls from the Gully players
3. MJ to score from a set piece
4. Vista to play the more attractive football
5. Gully to pump their next ball long
6. Vista supporters to be much wittier than their dim Gully cousins
Anyone care to add to the list?

My blood is already starting to boil
, i can not wait for this one, personally haven't played them since an 8 - 0 league win quite a few years a go as i missed the last cup match against them due to suspension. I think both teams are pretty even this year should be a cracker, will defently come down to best team on the day. Big crowd expected

Mr Football, are you getting that excited about playing in the B's this weekend??Mr Football wrote:My blood is already starting to boil, i can not wait for this one, personally haven't played them since an 8 - 0 league win quite a few years a go as i missed the last cup match against them due to suspension. Well hopefully there is a big crowd. There weren't many Gully supporters at their cup match recently. Beer prices might have to go up after tomorrow's federal budget. We'll need the extra cash to be able to pay our win bonuses

word of warning 2 the gully boys... better hope that johnny boy (vista's resident ref) isnt officiating (if u can call it that!) coz u guys will be crucified!!!

Are you the tool that started this johny boy rubbish last year we are still trying to work out who the hell he is??? We've only got our b's ref and he's defently not a crucifier, if anything he trys to hard not to be bias that he ends up favouring the other team.
Don't listen to him gully boys you'll be beaten fair and square
