WA Juniors Away Kit
I was informed that at the weekend a WA Juniors side were asked to change their kit and the response was that they hadn't been given an away kit.
Surely my source has that wrong?

Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
They away kits may still be on there way from their kit suppliers.
WA should have put forward to the FFSA their home and away colours as part of their club info given to FFSA prior to the season starting, I wonder what WA junior away colours are, the same as their senior teams? - usually that is the case.

Coach should have been prepared with a set of last years away kit or a set of suitably coloured bibs if this was the caseMr Red wrote:They away kits may still be on there way from their kit suppliers.

I bet the coach would say that's for the team manager and club to sort out.

Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
Definitely the team managers job. Just looked at the WA kit. I assume they were playing a team in blue. If so, one of them should definitely be changing.
Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
I'm pretty sure u6-u11 don't have an away strip to save on costs, but from u12-up they do, I know this as there was an u9 game
and WA wore there blue and white home strip, and should of had an away strip on, the other coach anticipated this
and got his team to wear their away strip whilst playing home.

Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
wonder what WA would do if the opposing team didn't have an away kit or forgot it ... oh we know that answer

Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
Have to say from what I have seen WA would have to be one of the most accommodating clubs when it comes to meeting other clubs requests in the junior leagues so think the inference you are making is incorrect ..bloodypassit wrote:wonder what WA would do if the opposing team didn't have an away kit or forgot it ... oh we know that answer
Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
Had a Vista V WA girls game this year and you guest it WA turned up with their home kit only - Luckily Vista had their away kit and were happy to wear their away kit as the home team. umm!!
Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
We were told that the WA team has had on average only 7 or 8 players for each of their games this year - I think others may also need looking at other than the team manager.magnet wrote:The team manager needs sacking.

Re: WA Juniors Away Kit
It wasn't luck that the Vista team had their away kit that night. The West Adelaide U15 Girls do not have an away strip. Vista were happy to play in their away strip as they'd rather play than not.
It is true the WA team has had a tough year. They only had 9 players that night at Modbury and finished the game with 6 or 7 after injuries.
They also had to forfeit several games at the start of the year due to low numbers, including the very first game of the season against Vista.

I meant it was lucky for WA that Vista had the away kit available which they didn't have to as the home team and WA was lucky that Vista were happy to play in it as they didn't have to as the home team.Mr Huge wrote:It wasn't luck that the Vista team had their away kit that night. Ah yes, fair enough and agreed it was lucky for WA.Mr Red wrote:I meant it was lucky for WA that Vista had the away kit available which they didn't have to as the home team and WA was lucky that Vista were happy to play in it as they didn't have to as the home team.Mr Huge wrote:It wasn't luck that the Vista team had their away kit that night. The WA U13 JPL team also played against Vista that night before the girl's game and had their yellow away strip on. Seems a shame the JPL gets an away strip but the Girls don't. Hopefully that will change, especially given the success of the Women's team in the NPL.
