Last Christmas
I gave you my heart and the very next day, you gave it away
This year to save me from tears, I'll give to Brendan Rogers
3,000 tickets allocated, 5,000 supporters in the stadium!
Bhoys in great voice last night, showed the 'plastic fantastics' how to support a club
That's why were the best club in the world

1-1 away from home a pretty good result also.Knight15 wrote:I gave you my heart and the very next day, you gave it away

Agreed, they were missing plenty and it was a 'dead rubber', but happy with the result and performance, probably should have wonMr Red wrote:1-1 away from home a pretty good result also.Knight15 wrote:I gave you my heart and the very next day, you gave it away

Actually, 3,000 ticket but 5,000 in the crowd. Sounds like Liverpool.

Lol, the man with many colours - didn't know Man City was another one of your clubsBomber wrote:Still couldn't stop causing trouble.
When you only allocate a massive club like Celtic 3,000 tickets and can't sell enough to your own supporters (the ones who left on mass against Chelsea) then don't blame us for supporting our club

Pretty sure any celtic supporter would have been politely asked to leave who was illegally in the wrong end.

UEFA have charged Celtic AGAIN for their crowd behaviour. So much for this fantastic club with its great behaviour.

Re: Last Christmas
So Celtic have a few idiot supporters that get involved in trouble and some on here feel the need to highlight it. Making mountains out of molehills is something the press like to do and some thrive on it. Personally when Millwall and England fans run riot I'm not on here bleating about it. Yes they get teased and abused and take the bait but don't make out it is uniquely Celtic. Like ALL massive clubs (not talking Millwall here) they carry their percentage of idiots. I have cringed in the past and will cringe in the future. That said 80,000 supporters travelled to the city of Seville in 2003 to cheer on the Bhoys and their behaviour was outstanding and the fans were awarded by FIFA. So proud of the Club and its supporters that night in a 3-2 defeat by FC Porto. Both sides to the coin but what I can vouch for is the club will be big enough to do the right thing and ban the idiots as they bring shame to the club and its decent fellow supporters.

Then maybe also people shouldn't come on here boasting about how great they are and how their support is fantastic when this is the the 11th time they have been charged. Maybe some shouldn't be on here boasting about the illegal activity of celtic fans.thebeautifulgame wrote:So Celtic have a few idiot supporters that get involved in trouble and some on here feel the need to highlight it. I'm not boasting, just merely stating facts. In fairness GIAE you have quoted some facts and I would admit that Celtic have a few undesirables that cause trouble and mayhem wherever and whenever they go if their misbehaviour goes unpunished. We are not the judge and jury so let the powers that be sort it out. Not going to troll the web pages (not got the time or desire) to give you all the historic misdemeanours of the Millwall fans and I'm sure as one of their proud supporters you will be aware of the statistics. Some saying that you have been 'Eating babies since 1885', class statement really and indicates the standard of citizen which may want to follow your lot.
Footnote: Nice away strip in season 2003/2004, was it a tribute to our lot (Larsson, Sutton, Hartson etc.)? Bet that went down well with the locals!

Re: Last Christmas
94/95 had a green and white away kit as well.
There is a long list of trouble with Millwall but I don't pretend we're angels. The "eating babies" is a piss take on the perception people have of us. We sing "no one likes us". We are aware of our reputation and don't care what outsiders think of us.
Oh and correct, you are not the one boasting about your clubs superb behaviour.

I was very impressed by the Celtic away support, didn't stop singing all game
It was a stupid mistake from Man City to only allocate 3,000 tickets - I'm sure you would still watch Millwall (if they ever got back into Europe) if their allocation was exhausted

Re: Last Christmas
UEFA rules state at least 5% of the stadium capacity be allocated to away supporters, so 3,000 is a reasonable number. Do you expect Man City to turn away its own fans to give Celtic a bigger allocation?
Re: Last Christmas
No, that's my whole point though ground wasn't full despite the larger number of Celtic Fans than allocated - although of course City don't need the moneyozzie owl wrote:UEFA rules state at least 5% of the stadium capacity be allocated to away supporters, so 3,000 is a reasonable number.
