Do you like talking to yourself? Do you like continually talking about the same topic? Do you watch football games from outside the perimeter fence to avoid paying entry fees? Do you like reliving past glories over and over and over and over? If so then this is the forum might be for you. You can grind your axes to your hearts content in this forum.
With Qatar, Emirates and Southern China Airlines flying out of Adelaide Airport fares are very competitive . Not all flights are full and getting a single seat at short notice and at a price is not hard .
That doesnt answer anything, I asked for the $900 tickets???
Not only are you in expert on football, fish & chips but you're a travel agent expert as well???
Should start calling you Professore

JD is quoting "bunked up in luggage with pets" class, remember. He's a fence jumper so that wouldn't surprise....
True story:
I was playing for Polonia under 12 in 1972. I go watch Polonia seniors to play at Croydon Park and asked entrance fee. A farce for a junior player there .
The same use to happen at Hindmarsh Stadium when I was A Hellas junior.
My point is this.
Back then these clubs had no system of identifying their junior players at senior games eg a ID card or something .

Funny, 'cos no-one else under 14 was ever charged anything.
Anyway, look at the bright side. Saving 20c each time helped you buy your Gemini

If you can get return tickets to Athens for $900 then I'll buy a whole planes worth, on-sell them and with the profits that go back to Olympic, I'll even put your name as major sponsor on front of shirt. PM please will ya
Depending on what time of year those flights are, you'd lose money.

Maybe this is why clubs need to charge fees for juniors...
As you have quoted ... crowds were much bigger and paid an entrance fee... this may have assisted in keeping junior fees to a minimal cost... but people like yourself .. jumping fences and choosing not to pay another words (Stealing ) made clubs charge fees....
The truth is I was much taller and looked older at a young age.
I think the entrance was charged for over 15 or 14 year olds at SASF games back then. At Hindmarsh non club people were hired at the gates especially the Manton St side . So we had to walk around the grand stand side call a club person who knew us so we could eventually get in for free,
Like I said we had no club ID cards back then.
At Polonia the old Polish gate guys had no idea if we play under 12 there.
Charging fees for junior JPL in my books is negative.
They do not come to games anyway today.
And if they did they will spend money on food and drink .
That is what we did in our time.
A tip the club wah2 can make an offer to buy my communities hall at Glenelg North?
The Flambouro Society of SA.
At least there is a base for the club for functions meetings etc that it actually owns .
Even Salisbury Florina SC has a function hall in Ingle Farm it owns.
This is the type of asset wah2 should be realistically looking at.

At West Beach there is no other FFSA club for miles.
West Beach is still better than Kilburn in my books .
Hindmarsh would be the best.
what do you define miles away ???
Im sure you are aware that the following clubs are less than 10 km away from West Beach
Fulham
West Torrens Birkalla
Adelaide Cobras
Cumberland
Western Strikers

Can't see you spending money on anything, food or otherwise at a game.
In fact, I'd say if you got in for free, you'd probably bring a sandwich from home and a flask of truong Nguyen with you.

If JD got in for free and the game was poor he would ask for a refund
Around Adelaide Town Kafenios is a whisper of WAH2 entering the nsl again ?????
The grape vine....
Tell your whispering alter egos that the NSL is long dead and gone.
By the way, have you been checked for schizophrenia?
