Maybe it's just me but Downs with 41 points is more than Brahma with 38 points.superstarfootballer wrote:Brahma don't need to win they got better goal different

All catch up games agains Grove have now been forfeited, we have been informed by the league
So A,B and Cs are champions.
You are more than welcome to Bring It On.

Are you really allowed to just forfeit a game that effectively wins the opposition the title?web wrote:Slinky_Pete wrote:Maybe it's just me but Downs with 41 points is more than Brahma with 38 points.superstarfootballer wrote:Brahma don't need to win they got better goal different

A's were already champions, but can you blame the grove players for not wanting to play a nothing game for them seeing as they celebrated the end of their season on Sunday? Silly situationAndy1991 wrote:

First year in Div 1 and Brahma won A's B's and C's. I'm sure no one at the club is dissapointed on how any were won

Well in to Moggy, Mulz and all the other coaches, committee members and players on a fantastic year. To come up and continue the success of last year is not an easy job.

In my humble opinion, best three teams in those divisions and deserved champions.BPBC wrote:A's were already champions, but can you blame the grove players for not wanting to play a nothing game for them seeing as they celebrated the end of their season on Sunday? Silly situationAndy1991 wrote:

This is the reason why any catch up games should be played before the last Round.

What if that means a home team are forced to give up home ground advantage?swannsong wrote:This is the reason why any catch up games should be played before the last Round.

If you can't produce a pitch suitable to play on then yes unfortunately.God is an Englishman wrote:What if that means a home team are forced to give up home ground advantage?swannsong wrote:This is the reason why any catch up games should be played before the last Round.
Having a team win on a forfeit is poor, surely the Brahama lads would have wanted to wrap it up themselves , well played to them on taking all 3 out by the way.

Re: Lodge wins a b and c titles
Spot on Mers, we would've liked to wrap it up well before the last game hence us trying to organise this catch up game with both the Grove and the league for the last 5 weeks to no avail.paul merson wrote:If you can't produce a pitch suitable to play on then yes unfortunately.God is an Englishman wrote:What if that means a home team are forced to give up home ground advantage?swannsong wrote:This is the reason why any catch up games should be played before the last Round.

Due to this both our C's and Reserves missed the opportunity to celebrate this with their team, club and friends on Sunday.
I won't air anymore but to say your summary of it being poor couldn't be more right and won't be forgotten

I'm talking general here not just this situation. You should be entitled to play a home game at your home ground. We also play in a Saturday/Sunday division not a Wednesday night division.

I note your own club is playing a league title deciding catch up game after the end of the season on saturday.paul merson wrote:If you can't produce a pitch suitable to play on then yes unfortunately.God is an Englishman wrote:What if that means a home team are forced to give up home ground advantage?swannsong wrote:This is the reason why any catch up games should be played before the last Round.

The same club that apparently whinged and moaned that it shouldn't be allowed last year.

Unplayed games (seniors) have B&F votes and goalscoring opportunities riding on them !The Bluehearts wrote:Even when it had nothing riding on itGod is an Englishman wrote:I note your own club is playing a league title deciding catch up game after the end of the season on saturday.

ie What if a Brahma or Grove player missed out on B&F by 1 vote ?

If you can't deliver a pitch to play on then yes, play somewhere that can.God is an Englishman wrote:So teams should be punished because they haven't got lights and because of weather?paul merson wrote:If you can't produce a pitch suitable to play on then yes unfortunately.God is an Englishman wrote:

Re: Lodge wins a b and c titles
My opinion doesn't change as to who it is, it shouldn't be allowed, let alone being allowed to just forfeit the game.God is an Englishman wrote:I note your own club is playing a league title deciding catch up game after the end of the season on saturday.paul merson wrote:If you can't produce a pitch suitable to play on then yes unfortunately.God is an Englishman wrote:

Why do you think we agreed to play on your pitch that day, we didn't want to have to deal with a catch up at a ground that we could see only getting worse.
