Tonite campbelltown played comets at newton sports field. the game went comets way 1nil towards the end of the game. was quite a boring game with only 1 goal scored.
Keepers at both end had some worries with c/town and comets both getting close to the goal.

scrappy game the pitch was in good condition and the weather was perfect for a night game both teams had there fair share of chances but comets took theres well and capitalised with a hard fought win in the end.

"now thats sexy football"
the guy who scored comets goal plays his soccer for comets under 19s (not sure if he is the right age for u16s, maybe he is)...its pretty bad that comets had to drop an under 19s player down to there squad, even when they had 4 on the bench already...and rico should have said something because the under 19s player was running the lines for comets in the first half, but all of a sudden got changed at half time when the scores were level...hopefully this wont happen when it comes to campbelltown vs comets in there cup round coming up.

If it is true that he plays for U19's then by the next JPL cup round he will already be cup tied to the U19's (if he plays for them) as the senior cup rounds are a week before the JPLAisatnaf#15 wrote:the guy who scored comets goal plays his soccer for comets under 19s (not sure if he is the right age for u16s, maybe he is)...its pretty bad that comets had to drop an under 19s player down to there squad, even when they had 4 on the bench already...and rico should have said something because the under 19s player was running the lines for comets in the first half, but all of a sudden got changed at half time when the scores were level...hopefully this wont happen when it comes to campbelltown vs comets in there cup round coming up.
Assume that if he played his name would have been on team sheet before kickoff so it must have been planned for him to come on at some stage

This is where I hate catch up games, because teams boost their side up with older players. IMO its cheating, if you have a full side and your calling players down, the only reason why your calling this player down is to win. I can understand if their are injuries etc. to get a player, but otherwise it stinks and its unfair to the other boys who are in the team.Aisatnaf#15 wrote:the guy who scored comets goal plays his soccer for comets under 19s (not sure if he is the right age for u16s, maybe he is)...its pretty bad that comets had to drop an under 19s player down to there squad, even when they had 4 on the bench already...and rico should have said something because the under 19s player was running the lines for comets in the first half, but all of a sudden got changed at half time when the scores were level...hopefully this wont happen when it comes to campbelltown vs comets in there cup round coming up.
In this case I would say the only purpose was to win and to even hide the player through the postion of linesman. It just keeps getting better.
