We may be down but we are not out!
Before you all start crowing at our demise remember that this is the lowest we have ever been in our proud history - can your club say that?
Of the current Premier League clubs that I can name at first thought, the following have been lower than this at some point in their history:
ManUre(?)
ManCity
Chelski
Newcastle
Liverpool
Bolton
Reading
Wigan
West Ham
Sheffield Utd
Watford
Charlton
Aston Villa
Blackburn
Middlesborough
Fulham
Portsmouth
Everton (?)
Tottenham (?)
Not too sure about the ones with a question mark (?).

FOOTBALL IS LIFE - The Rest Is Just Details
Its a SAD time for Leeds United and there supporters but i guess thats Football, they should of let that Mohammad bloke buy them out the year they got relegated from the EPL but they had to much pride to be run by a Mohammad and that decision could well come back to haunt the boys from Elland Rd, Yorkshire.
Not the same without Leeds in the EPL, they were always up there and before being relegated to the Championship i remember some great Wins against the Man Uniteds, Arsenals and Liverpools and still remember that game where they were down 3-1 to Liverpool and came back to win 4-3 with all 4 goals from.............................you guessed it, Australian Mark Viduka when he was in his prime.
I think it will be tough for Leeds to get back up there, teams like Notts Forest and Oldham Athletic have never recovered from being relegated to League One but the resolve of Leeds United will be tested and i suspect if they are not back within 2 years then there Life as a BIG English club will be only seen in the History books alonside Nottingham Forest, nevertheless a very RICH History has Leeds, all the best to them
No more big games with the almighty LIVERPOOL

It's going to be a lot worse for Leeds over the next week.
There is talk of the club going into administration because the club is dying on its feet. If they do go into administration, it could be as early as this week whilst mathmatically still a ccc team. The points will then be deducted from this seasons total. Any later they will be liable for a 10 points deduction before they even kick off next season.
Asset wise the club own nothing but the players, so some of the better ones might have to be sold. The heart is going to be ripped out of the club, and with no rich backer, they will find it tough to get back up. They could freefall even further down the league if things arent done, Wimbledon a case in point.
Master Bates has said such this week in the local press, that they need money in the club and quick.
My team is Oldham, seen them fall and seen them in administration. Won't be easy for Leeds to do both at the same time.
So Fred, I hope Leeds first survive the administration, I wouldnt wish that on anyone, wondering if you still got a club to support, it wasn't a nice feeling.
As for promotion, NAH you not getting that out of me.

Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey has urged would-be investors to contact the club and prove they have the funds in place to help them bounce back to the Championship.
Speculation is gathering pace regarding the future of Leeds, all-but relegated to League One on Saturday, with some reports claiming the club could go into administration within seven days.
But the club have vehemently denied there was a emergency board meeting at Elland Road this morning.
There are also rumours of various consortia lining up with takeover offers, while chairman Ken Bates has today insisted plans were already in hand for manager Dennis Wise to get Leeds back up at the first attempt.
Harvey said: "It is important that we take time to reflect on all the factors that have seen us relegated, barring a miracle at Derby next week.
"We need to make considered and structured decisions both on and off the field over the forthcoming weeks to position ourselves to use next season as a springboard to go forward from.
"There will be (and has been) a significant amount of speculation as to what the future holds for the club financially, particularly from would-be investors who want to become involved/own Leeds United.
"This type of speculation is currently rife both at Leeds United and football in general, but our message remains consistent in so much as anyone interested in becoming financially involved should contact us with full details of who they are and proof of funds to show they are able to assist us.
"We will continue to decline to comment on speculation.
"The supporters of the club have been tremendous all season including all those who have contacted the club offering their backing since the result on Saturday (other than the minority involved in the pitch invasion).
"Ticket prices for next season will be announced soon.
"There is no point in looking back as we cannot change the past. What we need to do is positively affect the future to get this great club back to where it should be so we can all be proud of the club again."
BBC Radio Five Live this morning reported that a well-placed source had told them the club could go into administration within a week.
But a Leeds spokesman confirmed: "I can categorically deny there was any board meeting held by Leeds this morning."
And chairman Bates, 75, did not appear to have administration in mind when jumping to defend Wise, who failed to halt the slide at Elland Road after being appointed Kevin Blackwell's successor in October.
Bates told the Yorkshire Post: "Dennis has done a much better job than many people realise.
"We were in a much worse position when Dennis came in than people know about.
"Some of the difficulties he inherited cannot be made public, but there were real problems in the dressing room. The playing side was in complete disarray."
Bates added: "On Monday we will start the first day of the 2007/8 promotion season.
"We can now have a complete clean out and start again. It's time to look forwards, not backwards."

Oh you tried to comment about eyetalian football, but your lack of knowledge has shown through. Lazio have never been in Serie C. Bad luck on that one. Last time we in Serie B was mid-80's, and we only got relelgated cause of match-fixing. Id say 20 years is a quite some time ago, and unlike Leeds, we bounced back upFred Goldstone wrote:Wasn't too long ago that Lazio were in Serie C.
