Oh Fat Frank we love you!!! When the game is in the balance, you really show your colours... Mascherano killed the midfield, absolutely killed it!

We should have won 2 nil, but I'll take the penalties

lftwng, makes you wonder why he wasn't played at the hammers, surely they'd be out of relegation if they held onto mascha

Was fat frank actually playing?? Chelsea were dismal. Roman will have to bring out his chequebook again in the summer.

a lot of things make me wonder about West Ham, some of their dealings and decision during the year are that of retards. to get rid of Mascha and bring in Nigel Quasie... well just the sound of it makes me laugh... defiantely deserve their relegation.

everyone talks about the likes of Ronaldo not being a big-game player... well compared to lamplard he is a superstar in these matches!! Lamplard always goes missing in crunch games for club and country... then again expect nothing less from lamplard.

when i got home from my mate's house... i couldnt believe i was still wearing my Lampard top... this is beyond a joke, i love the bloke he is one of my 2 fave players but seriously...he's gotta lift, last season he was UNBELIEVABLE, this year - average at best...popped up with some good goals and plenty of assists, but it is NOTHING compared to last season...

omg!! What a win for Liverpool.

I even got up this morning to watch it. I like watching the big games especially if Liverpool or Italy are playing.

I think the Chelsea players were always falling over especially their number 10 and why was the Chelsea coach always abusing the referees?

i had a feeling we ( chelsea ) would struggle

no carvallho ( big loss ) , no sheva or ballack ( mild loss ) and we would struggle
take nothing away from the pool though, on their home turf especially

i think chelsea have to regroup and go for the FA cup, the league is out of reach now barring a collapse from Man U

Injuries seem to have taken their toll this year and some needless player sales ( ie Huth )

carvalho was a MASSIVE loss...essien was class, but i much prefer to have him running the midfield this morning as FL was shocking...it killed me...

we must win the FA CUP if not, i consider this season somewhat of a failure...right in the mix at the business end of the season for 4 trophies, and we only pick up the least coveted one of the lot? well lets hope it doesnt happen!!!

I'm expecting an entertaining match
Whoever said this should be shot.

As football365 said, neither team deserved to go through, but unfortunately one had to. As much as I hate Liverpool and its fans, part of me wanted them to win, simply to assist the impending mental breakdown of Moaninho. He has seriously lost the plot.

Whilst, the other larger part of me, cannot fathom how a team with such little talent and inability to mount a serious title challenge for almost 15 years, is one game away from being champions of europe twice in three years. It sickens me. Next year, I'll be advocating UEFA go back to CHAMPIONS league format where only champions play and thankfully I will be spared the prospect of scum being champions of europe for at least the next 10-20 years.

I never doubted liverpool for a second except when they changed the penalties to the other end and not the KOP end.

But I knew Stevie G will lead his troops into another Champions League Final.

And for all of you Chelsea supporters better luck next year losers

Pepe Reina is class

its all about the underdog mentallity. This mornings game was a classic case of 1 team that was under alot of pressure to get through to the final and another team who was determined to get through to the final. Now the test for us tomorrow to send us to Greece. What a game it will be. Go the mighty red (devils)

I dont remeber man utd winning the title for the last two seasons but for some reason you deserve to be in the semi final, so if you man united manage to win the final how will that be any different to liverpool winning in 2005 and possibly 2007. That is the format uefa decided on so any team entered is as deserving a winner as any body else.
