Its hard to see anyone even drawing with the Lodge after they have beaten both the Farm and the Downs both 3-1 in the first 2 rounds.

On the face of it that may be correct however it was certainly a flattering result on the weekend for the Lodge as they were matched all the way apart from the finishing - they won't have it all their own - nor would I suggest they think they will. Interesting also to note that the Brahma reserves side are without a win as yet.

Lets wait and see how long their stay at the top is. Cashed up immediate success ok - but there's been more than one club hit the top, only to plummet (some without trace) once the $$$s disappear. Likely to be some entertaining football to watch in the meantime though.
