Tasty fixture list. Some potential crackers straight off the cuff...
Looking forward to our Rd 1 fixture. Top it off with a cracker last up too!!
Why after Rd 3 does the time change to 3:15pm kick off??

What about the 11:15am kick-offs for the Cs?Robbo wrote:^^ the 3:15pm kick off times are errors, all kick offs are 3pm
Did they provide any clarity on that?

On the basis of what I saw last night Brahma Lodge are going to be very difficult to stop this season - fast paced confident passing game shredded Downs in the second half who up until half time were very much in it. Downs played some pretty impressive football in patches too but the pace that Brahma play at will be very difficult for other teams to match and keep pace with especially if they can't maintain possession when they do get it. Discussing it with other clubs it is obvious that "there will be no easy games" this season.

Re: Sunday Div 1
Good thing they have a good forward set-up as I think their defence is a little suss and will concede a few goals . As for passing game, they play the Leicester technique kick it long from the fullbacks and let their very quick forwards do the rest. Good on the counter attack. I look forward to seeing some cracking games of football this season.Old Redback wrote:On the basis of what I saw last night Brahma Lodge are going to be very difficult to stop this season - fast paced confident passing game shredded Downs in the second half who up until half time were very much in it. Re: Sunday Div 1
Great game last night between downs and brahma.
Very hard fought first half with chances going both ways, with brahma hitting the woodwork 3 times and Benny pulling of some very good saves, the first goals for both teams were defensive errors but well taken goals, downs second goal well I'm not sure how the brahma defender did not clear that of the line so downs were lucky to get away with that goal, brahmas goals 2 were scrambles in the box from corners and the other 5 were well played well taken goals. Brahma smashed downs in the second half Chad bugeja coming on and tore the downs defence apart, also considering as well brahma were missing a few like fred Agius, Benny Tarabar, Eric Camarinha, John Foat, Brett Selga, Daniel Scordo, Michael mullen and Shaun ward. Well done to brahma and downs a very entertaining game and great banter on the sidelines looking forward to round 2

Wet weather in the middle of the season might bring them back to the pack a bit. They are definitely firing at the moment.

grove will be more time, they didn't look convincing the other night vs a Sat Div2 team and their ressies were easily handled
Re: Sunday Div 1
Did Pickett play for the downs? Quality player. Still time for clubs to add to lists especially now clubs know where their squads are at plus players know where they sit at their fed clubs

Re: Sunday Div 1
I thought Pickett signed with Angle Vale ? They've now lost Pickett, Gomes, Romeo and Clarke . All quality players .What's going on there ?

Bramah is a great squad of players and would give any NPL team a good run for their moneyEverbodywhinge71 wrote:Great game last night between downs and brahma.
