Saturday Div 4
Hi everyone, I have heard the league only has 8 confirmed teams at this time. Has anyone else heard differently?
Re: Saturday Div 4
Well we are in as well (Strathalbyn). Not heard anything to be honest, although I daresay Adelaide Uni may not be there as they only fielded an A grade last year.

Maybe Cove who finished 2nd bottom in div 3 will come down.

Was told that Breakers had been asked if they wanted to stay Div 3 and that Hahndorf up to Div 2?Sean at Strath wrote:Maybe Cove who finished 2nd bottom in div 3 will come down.

My understanding from players who were part of that team, is that the Cove Amateurs have folded.Sean at Strath wrote:Maybe Cove who finished 2nd bottom in div 3 will come down.

My mail has it that Hahndorf have already turned down the offer to go up.reddevil wrote:Was told that Breakers had been asked if they wanted to stay Div 3 and that Hahndorf up to Div 2?Sean at Strath wrote:Maybe Cove who finished 2nd bottom in div 3 will come down.
If Breakers don't come down.. going to be a very light Div!

I will just be happy if all teams have an A and B grade this year.

Re: Saturday Div 4
Nope, we were rearranged this year since it didn't make sense to have a single team in a 2 team league. The Div 4(A) team has become the Div 3(C) team and is consequently moving into Div 6 from what I know.gooner4life wrote:Adel Uni.
Re: Saturday Div 4
Be a shame not to have Uni in Div 4 again, good luck in div 6!

Re: Saturday Div 4
Ridiculous that teams can decide what division they want to be in. Who runs the league the clubs or the league?gooner4life wrote:My mail has it that Hahndorf have already turned down the offer to go up.reddevil wrote:Was told that Breakers had been asked if they wanted to stay Div 3 and that Hahndorf up to Div 2?Sean at Strath wrote:Maybe Cove who finished 2nd bottom in div 3 will come down.

Re: Saturday Div 4
We saw the draft for Sat Div 3 and 4 tonight at SAASL.
Surprised to see Budapest in Div 3, when they have asked to go Div 5.
Also Breakers listed in Div 4, with Chin also being promoted to Div 3.
Two new teams in Div 4
M.U. Stars
Burundi Eagles

Re: Saturday Div 4
Regency Eagles have struggled in the Collegiate (not paying fines, fees, playing unrego'd players the usual stuff...)
They went from a 2 team club to a single team last season and I'm guessing the Burundi Eagles is their resurrected club but in the SAASL.
If it is... good luck.. they were a pain in the arse! Highly talented, awfully disciplined and no organization as a club but amazing to watch on their day and the best celebrations of goals for miles !

Cheers! All the best to you lads in Div 4 too! Seems like Divs 3 and (especially) 4 have been put through the mixer, should be an interesting year.Sean at Strath wrote:Be a shame not to have Uni in Div 4 again, good luck in div 6!
