with the restructure of the leagues, will your div 2 side move up to div 1 this year ? Given that most of last year's div 1 sides are now in the State league, and they are not allowed to have a team in div 1,would only leave Metro and Ade Uni from last years div 1 league.
One would think teams from last years div 2, like yours, Para Hills, Jaguars, Raiders, Flinders, E Vale, PH East ,EEFC, Ade City would now make up the bulk of the new div 1 ? Just guessing.

I'm not sure about that. It's an interesting thought. FFSA has not indicated anything of this sort to our club yet and I haven't heard anything from coaches of any of the other teams you mentioned,

Looking at the restructure it becomes simple mathematics - only 2 clubs from last year's division 1 ( Ade Uni + Metro ) remaining, as all the other clubs have gone to the new State League ( SL )
Those clubs in that have teams in the SL, cannot field division 1 sides, so, all / most of the clubs that were in div 2 last year would now be div 1 - I am sure there would be some rule in place about Prem /Res players not being allowed to play div 1.
Looking at the positive, all those div 2 clubs that are going to be in div 1, can use that as a recruiting tool :
"come and play for a div 1 club"
Just figured if all the clubs that are likely to be in this division, were proactive in this, we might save the FFSA some time and paperwork, as at the moment all the focus appears to be on the NPL /State League.
I am not involved with any of the clubs mentioned, just making sure the other divisions are not forgotten.
Has a starting date been set for the divisional teams does anyone know ?
