Well Seb Coe is in charge of the International Atheletics now and that is even more corrupt than FIFA - and he's English.

The corruption came before Coe was involved, Coe appears to be instrumental in getting rid of it and the reason these bans are coming out.

difference between IAAF and FIFA corruption is IAAF corruption is actually about the sporting competition itself, systematic state-sponsored doping, on the field integrity whereas FIFA corruption is about kickbacks from marketing deals and votes for political positions, off the field integrity.
