really, all you people who constantly bag this club should lay off it...

i was down there on Sunday and was very impressed by the setup and the general mood around the club... it is a nicely done-up club which people should stop bagging...i say this having been in a 19s/23s super league squad for the past couple years...their facilities certainly put to shame some of the super league clubs i travelled to...besides marden, there's only ram park and raiders which have decent setups

their supporters werent doin anythin wrong...in fact the opposition supporters caused trouble.... watch for them on the pitch in 07...they have some good players and a very smart coach, my tip would be possible promotion spot...watch out...

The coach at Salisbury Villa this year is Fortu Costanzo & as i understand he's not going to take any of the crap thats happened in the past...very diciplined with a solid history of soccer behind him, both as a player and a coach ... As for the friendly against BOSA on Wed nite (4th April) we got done 4-0 (maybe 5, u lose count after a while) but it was a good hit out played in high spirits...As for the B's the less said the better (6 or 7 - 1)...

Looking forward to the start of the season...hope every one has a great easter break!!!

Then I would say you know nothing about their history.

They were chucked out of the comp for a reason.

Though to be fair, I was down there on Sunday too and it seemed to be a completely different club. Here's hoping they continue in that respect.

Reggina, I though Malavindi was the coach this year? why did he not start on the weekend?

You guys have a long way to go before you deserve respect from the rest of the league after the sh!te that went on over the years. However I have no complaints about the way we were treated there Sunday, well done and hopefully it continues. Oh and the young lad with the blonde hair in the middle of the park, fkin cracking goal that was. Good player

Malavindi is assisting Fortu and is helping us with out fitness ....(and boy how we need THAT)...to be honest he's still about 4 weeks away from full fitness....Blonde haired guy in the middle - we've aptly named him "whitey"...good young lad, only 21. I realise we have a long way to go, but thanks for the kind words - all being well we should have a good atmosphere out there this year! Good luck to you!

yes adriano10, a young lad came out between the sticks a few weeks ago...seemed a very accomplished player, but didnt like the idea of training all that much - a bit disturbing at his age - tho if we can convince him to train we would be glad to pick him up ... as for goofy, i asked for EXTRA CHEESE and he was late again - would love to see him out there though....

dont worry about villa, there's a couple pending signings...all that's left now is contract negotiations to make sure players are kept happy...they want their twisties....

As much as it pains me to say, Villa are still far from promotion after what i saw out there last Sunday (1-4 loss to Black Eagles)....Hopefully some injuries will clear up very soon or we could be stcuk in mid table obscurity....

Signings...contract negotiations: are we talking about Aston Villa or Salisbury Villa? this is an amateur football club, yes?

It will be interesting??

Beograd has at least 6 players to come in from their 3.2 loss to Villa and due to lack of training will probably start picking up points mid season.

Beograd reserves to win league. Several gun players thru the spine.

Apparently the club has 46 players registered for 2 teams and toll rising every week.

prediction

Black eagles
Beograd
Villa
Gawler
South Coast
Aguila
Fulham2
SA Stars
Unley
Angle Vale

Although this low down the divisions lately seems to mean 3rd/4th/5th is good enough to go up once other clubs fold
