Re: Div 1 players signings
Out of naïve interest, how are players 'signing' with clubs if registration for SAASL doesn't open up until around January February?
Is it just word of mouth, handshake or on the dotted line stuff ?

Why is everyone always telling people on computers to hit me ?

If a new player complete this form: http://www.saasl.com.au/applications/Do ... N_FORM.pdfCtrl-Alt-Del wrote:Out of naïve interest, how are players 'signing' with clubs if registration for SAASL doesn't open up until around January February?

If an existing amateur player fill in this form:
http://www.saasl.com.au/applications/Do ... L_FORM.pdf
Once completed it's all of the above in a verbal commitment and handshake.

Re: Div 1 players signings
But the forms are amateur forms and I doubt they would have a legally binding validity, particularly as they cannot be submitted to the SAASL yet.Gabon wrote:If a new player complete this form: http://www.saasl.com.au/applications/Do ... So I assume that word of mouth and handshake would hold as much credibility.

Not sure what your getting at as players can transfer up until transfer deadline?Ctrl-Alt-Del wrote:But the forms are amateur forms and I doubt they would have a legally binding validity, particularly as they cannot be submitted to the SAASL yet.Gabon wrote:If a new player complete this form: http://www.saasl.com.au/applications/Do ... Verbal commitment and handshake is enough for me.

No probs, didn't know what you were getting at either with the links to SAASL forms.Gabon wrote: Not sure what your getting at as players can transfer up until transfer deadline?

Was just referring to how players can be referred to as 'locked in' for next season so early with the 2016 season about 4 months away ?

Re: Div 1 players signings
I've heard that all of the players here are going to Brahma Lodge next season.
I've also heard that every player at west adelaide and croydon is going there as well. Brahma will be fielding 16 teams in saasl next year before stepping up to the A League next season when they will be signing the entire Melbourne Victory squad and Tim Cahill.
Only a rumour at this point but I understand meetings have been arranged with Jamie Carragher as well.
