Re: manchester cup
NSW NTC won
Westies and SANTC struggled
Bit dodgy that a representative team wins its way into a World Club tournament Be like the Socceroos getting a go at the Champions League.
Bottom line - Great experience for all the boys from SA. Something they shared and never forgotten

Re: manchester cup
SANTC came 2nd in their pool (Pool A) behind 1st place winners Marconi Stallions FC (A NSW Premier League club team, who won against tge SANTC team 2-1)
1st place played 2nd Place from Pool B so yes they did play the Semi Finals. SANTC vs NSW NTC, and NZ vs Marconi Stallions FC.
Winners from these semi's played Grand Final being NSW NTC vs NZ and NSW won.

Let's not forget why our kids play!!
First for enjoyment, great friends & and enemies, unfortunately
& Fitness, and if given an opportunity, can be in rep teams. If not, they fight to live another day.
The eastern states will always be stronger at junior level, maturity is early and competivness is greater.
Our kids in SA seem to develop later. Junior coaches interstate get more $$$ too. Their club fees are higher.
We have skilful & inteligent players. But not all that get picked in rep teams make it to seniors. Others come out of the woodworks and surprise
I beleiev strongly the current senior set up is wrong for our junior players coming through.
Many kids are getting pushed up too early and it'll backfire
