PUMAS 07

Post by malakies »

Everyone has underestimated them this year. I heard they had a strong pre season and even thrashed round 1 team "croatia". Any opionions. Few young players out there too.........

I think it's more a case of Croatia being decimated by player losses/retirements etc than Pumas improving that much.

Mail I heard was that the scoreline flattered Pumas...but definitely a good thrashing on the scoreboard.

Their result in round 1 was very impressive, even if Croatia were depleted. If they have added a few good players to last season's squad they will do well.

Will be a very tough game for Vista this week on Pumas' cow paddock.

PAra Hills West also will have a danger game against them on Wed in Cup Round 1.

They should not under estimate Pumas.

Pumas have not got much depth. They pumped us 6-0 in our first ESC2007 game, but we beat them 3-1 a few weeks later with a few players out. The strikers (Milad and Jack) are top-notch, and they have a few decent midfielders but will struggle if they cop a few injuries.

that's the one, couldn't remember who it was. he would be a good pick up if he played fair and kept his mouth shut.

Frank is at Port Pirie this year. He definitely has a mouth on him, but I wouldn't say he is a dirty player - not in the times I have played with or against him.

You probably heard right mate
I was dissapointed in them today.
It was as comfortable a win as we'll get this year.
Para Hills will stroll the cup game.

Just a sunday afternoon stroll in the park. Dont ask me about the free-kick I scored...!!

Pumas had 2 players, player, coach, caretaker, chief shite stirrer Jack upfront and my old mate Damian Babij playing left back, apart from that wasn't much at all. Very physical game though, to the credit of pumas, will go hard for the first half, try to out muscle, great idea when personal is at a low

No I won't ask about the free kick, it is probably already 5 yards further out than it was yesterday :)
