Goal Scoring Record
Might be a subject for Swanny and may have been asked already but what sort of records are we looking at for goals scored by a player in Div 1/2 and then the most scored ever. With Robbie McDonald already on 24 surely he would be giving it a shake??
Re: Goal Scoring Record
What about a team in div 2 scoring 100 goals? Conceding less that 10 in a season? Unbeaten? Largest wage bill ( )?
Re: Goal Scoring Record
Always depends where you draw the line...remember the Roger and Ross Nicholls scoring about 40 a piece one year in the lower divisions....Mitch Rushani for Adelaide Eagles scored over 40 one year from memory too....too much on my plate at the moment to go digging up stats...

Was more thinking first two divs. Cheers anyway mate. Was just interested in what he might be aiming for. Couldn't recall anyone really scoring over 30-35 since I've been playing that's all.

Correct. If he wasn't suspended for 4 or 5 games, he could have got to 60 odd easy!swannsong wrote:Always depends where you draw the line...remember the Roger and Ross Nicholls scoring about 40 a piece one year in the lower divisions....Mitch Rushani for Adelaide Eagles scored over 40 one year from memory too....too much on my plate at the moment to go digging up stats...

More importantly is the ongoing debate about SAASL being as good if not better than FFSA.
Robbie McDonald is a great bloke but struggled to kick goals consistently in the Feds.
Having kicked 24 so far pretty much ends the debate for me

Re: Goal Scoring Record
I would like to see those stats team wise in any div in any grade, what has been the most goals scored by a team (ressies or seniors) in any division or grade.
Re: Goal Scoring Record
Adelaide Eagles gave goalcoring a fair crack...5 times (As or Bs) surpassed the 100 goal mark...The moyesiah wrote:I would like to see those stats team wise in any div in any grade, what has been the most goals scored by a team (ressies or seniors) in any division or grade.
