back to a good ole Vale v's downs stoush today,not the prettiest game ,but the 60 metre pass from the no.4 to hit Trimmers in his stride and him put it away was what you'd expect,the own goal 10 mins later was one of those things,as a vale man a draw would have been great but wasn't to be, May'be next time

Was 15 in the end. It does make it hard when we went through the players Friday night and had 25 who couldn't play for one reason or another. I also had one just not turn up so we were always going to struggle. You put Treeni, Taffy, Ryan Beens, Scott Hardman , myself and Harry into the squad and suddenly it looks okay. For some reason we haven't been able to put out a consistent team so far. I just have to write this one off.
Our first team turned up today which was encouraging. I think we enjoy playing on the bigger pitches. It suits our style a lot more than the small home pitch we play on.
