Hi Fitball,
Finally someone has come on this forum and made sense.
I totally agree with your comments except for one.
RA and co must accept responsibility for the amount of players quitting because of the verbal treatment towards Female
W League/NTC Players.
It is well known that players have been treated with disrespect and consequently are leaving because of it. The environment is not a happy one.
Again another NTC player has quit and has now joined a local Premier club West Adelaide. Why? It should not happen.
Players just don't leave during State programs unless they are ill. Too many players have now quit. :?
Young players are placed under too much pressure. I always thought a player peaks at the age of approx. 25 years of age.
So why are young players being pushed to play at the highest level to early.

If Women's Football in SA is to progress forward and become a powerhouse in the country, several main things need to happen.
1. FFSA to be more innovative and not wait for FFA to pass down ideas.
2. FFSA to focus more at the foundation (young players under the age of 7).
3. Local Premier Clubs need to be more creative and look further outside the square. The clubs also needs to be innovative which I believe can only be done if the clubs come together as one and build ideas collectively relating to the future development of coaches, players and clubs.
4. Benchmark a non Women's Football Club. Maybe look at a successful Cricket or Netball club. They are getting a lot of TV coverage and exposure.
5. Remove the stigma that has been created over the years. "FFSA do what ever they like."
Currently, representatives of local clubs don't push any issues towards the FFSA Reps. as they believe they are talking to deaf ears.
6. Stop pushing Men's clubs to join the Women's Clubs as they don't give a damn.
Adelaide City & Metro have proved it by moving away from the Mens affiliation and are now successful.
7. Remove the sub rule in Premier league. Allow the rotation to occur which will enhance the game and keep players longer in the game.
8. We should not focus totally on the NTC/W league being the be all and end all in SA.
The focus should be Women's Football in SA is great.
We want players from all over the country talking about SA being the leaders in Australian Women's Football.
That means everybody needs to get on board and make it happen. Not an us and them mentality. (FFSA vs Clubs & Clubs vs Clubs)

HAHAHAHAHHA stop talking shit please.
1. Whats the point of having a head association if their not the ones enforcing the rules. Thats the whole shrizen point.
2. You say players are under too much pressure, then you want them to be trained when their under 7 years of age. (BTW under too much pressure? Their playing for NTC not Barcelona)
3. Ah yes, because clubs love to come together and trade their secrets like all the NPL coaches do with the mens.
4. Benchmark it with another sport? Ah yes thats always works because their are so much similarities. I understand that you should bring some factors from other sports but to benchmark? No thanks.
5. Firstly you want FFSA to do what they want and not follow the FFA but now you say don't do what you want? So many contradictions it hurts.
6. They have to, its part of the new rollout from the FFA. The added exposure to be affiliated with a mens club will only advance them
7. Ah yes, remove a rule that everyone in the whole world follows because SPORTSGIRL DOESNT AGREE WITH IT BECAUSE THE POOR GIRLS NEED TO RUN AND BE FIT.
8. I actually agree, but shouldn't it be the focus to advance women football, to increase the standard of the W-league so the professionalism of the game increases?
They'll base their opinions on the state of the W-league side, not the club sides. Thus the W-league standard needs to be increased.
For the past 6 pages all you've been doing is talking shiraz, if you have an agenda against Ross Aloisi or any other coaching staff, than say it. Don't try to sugar coat it and scream ITS FOR THE CHILDREN. Stop your complaining and do something.

6 pages of utter shite

We're up to round 3 of the local premier league and not one topic devoted to that but we have 6 pages of Sportsgirl speaking on behalf of all the clubs in the WPL and driving her own personal agenda against RA.

Can we please stop encouraging her and focus on the season on hand

Well Worthless Gobemouche
You might think this is utter shite, but what positive comment have you made about the Women's Premier League.

Worthless, have a look at the FFSA state teams at the moment who are currently being humiliated and is now a laughing stock of the premier league.
Since 2013, the FFSA U14/15 who play in the Premier League have gone from
2013 - 5th position
2014 - 7th position
2015 - looking at bottom of the table.
So to all you critics out there who believe I talk shite, tell me why the state program has gone backwards.
The W league & FFSA Under 14/15 have gone backwards since RA took over.
You all keep telling me that RA (Head of Women's Football) is the best thing to happen in SA.

If you want me to talk about the Premier league, I will start off with the following;
Metro defeated FFSA U14/15 20 goals to nil. Great game from Metro who humiliated the State team with a 20 goal thumping and is in contention to take out the Premier league.
Adel City 4 defeated Para Hills Nil. Again AC showed why they are one of two powerhouse teams to dominate the premier league.
Fulham Utd 4 def Sturt Marion 2.
Adel Uni 4 def Cumberland 3.
West Adelaide had a bye

So Worthless Gobemouche, what would be your main discussion in this round?
I know what mine and everyone else would be talking about.
Just check out the forum subject "FFSA" which I know you would have already read.

If you want my personal opinion, I'll gladly give it.

I don't think that the NTC is working as is was originally intended. I don't think we've seen the flow on effect to the W League side that we were all hoping to see, although they regularly seem to compete well at the NTC tournament each year. The club i'm involved with have regularly provided players to the FFSA sides in the premier league and for their development are happy to see them go. I think at present we have atleast 6 or 7 there with another 2 or 3 on the radar. For their sakes I hope that they get all that they can from the experience and manage to steer clear of 'pundits' like yourself with a sour and negative approach.

And whether their journey continues through the NTC and beyond to the W League or further, we'll congratulate them as we should. And if it doesn't we'll hopefully welcome back to the club that helped develop them as juniors so they continue to play at the highest possible standard that they can reach.

It appears to me that either your the parent of a player who isnt quite able to reach the potential that other coaches have seen in your daughter and poor RA has been the one to finally break the news to her or your that player yourself who's only option is to blame RA for your inability to reach the heights that mum and dad promised you. Heres some news for you honey, blowing a gentle waft of warm air up your a$$ and telling you your a star wont cut it. You have to work hard, and when thats not good enough, even harder. And when the day finally comes that you come to the realisation that maybe , just maybe you weren't good enough, dont blame your coach because he said you played 'bl00dy terribly' today and take out a personal attack ( with no evidence or proof other than your words, even though youve made claims about all clubs and certain players, but not failed to mention any names ) on him on a public forum because he swore at you. Toughen up a bit princess.

WG
Just for your info if you had read my previous comments you will notice that I am not a disgruntled parent. Just disgruntled at RA who has done nothing but disrespect the women players and has done nothing to lift the profile of womens football in SA other than go backwards.
If your happy to see your players get that treatment thats fine.
if you happy to see your club remain at the bottom thats also fine. I am also fine if your players return from the state pathway and return to a mediocre competition. I am also happy if your happy watching your young players in the FFSA state getting hammered each week. Great development.
I'm happy if your happy.
CHECK FFSA FORUM IM NOT THE ONLY ONE NOT HAPPY.
But i will not stop until womens football gets the respect it should.
Again instead of critisizing me, tell me the great things that
RA has done to improve womens football.

Firstly, slandering is when you make false accusations
about someone. Let me assure you that all my comments I have made are true facts.
I am happy for those who I have targeted to take action against me. But that will not happen as I said previously my comments are based on facts.
Secondly, I am unsure why you accept or condone the treatment players are receiving or where women's football is heading.
All I am asking is an overhaul of the FFSA Womens administration and the current system. This can be done by an qualified independent person to examine the running of the whole womens program.

Megabonus,
I maybe the lone voice here, but I can assure you that I am certainly not the only one out there that feels the women's competition is in disarray.
It seems to me that you are happy with the Premier League and the FFSA Program.
Then explain to me on this forum what achievements have occurred during the last 3 years.
Tell me what major changes have occurred to raise the profile of women's Football in SA.
tell me why is Basketball, Netball & Cricket are getting such a high exposure within the media.

What I can tell you is that:
The Premier League has been regarded as a second grade competition. The talk around the trap is that it should be renamed as Div 1.
The population does not support both the FFSA state program and the local Clubs.
The Premier League schedule is always presented approx. 4 weeks before the season starts. That is appalling.
The cup finals will no longer be held at Hindmarsh Stadium. A big disappointment to the young players who look forward to playing on the pitch.
Certain male dominated clubs which have women's football teams do not care about the female side other than receiving their fees.
Elite players leaving SA to play interstate.
Elite Players leaving the State Program due to disharmony.
FFSA under 14/15 and reserves are getting thumped. Absolute disgrace.
Communication breakdowns in all levels.
The sport needs an overhaul.

Megabonus, hopefully you will be able to provide me with all the achievements that will persuade me otherwise.

Heard a rumour that Adel uni player MJ Rojas has been having talks with the Lady Reds for 2015-2016 season.
Apparently the lady reds will be offering Rojas a 2 to 3 year contract with a significant financial backing through sponsorship or a consortium.
She must be really good.
Its good to see players getting paid.

The Premier cup rounds which include the reserve teams is disgraceful and should be scrapped by the FFSSA.
It is an absolute joke.
No disrespect to the reserve teams in the premier league, but they will never ever win a cup final.
Unfair to all reserve players that will never get to play finals let alone win one game.
Go back to the original concept where the reserve teams battles it out on their own.

The FFSA U15's continues to be humiliated with a 12 goal defeat by Adelaide Uni.
I understand the FFSA Under 15's don't care about the scores other than ensuring the players get the experience.
Well I cannot see how players are getting the experience when they are being pelted.
This is disgraceful and appalling. If people think this is healthy for Women's Football need their heads checked.
The FFSA have to take full responsibility for this.
RA has to be sacked or should resign as a matter of urgency as the state squads are going backwards.
FFSA needs to remove the FFSA State Under 15's players from the Premier League and look for a new head coach of Women's Football.
The whole Pathway and the Premier league needs to be reviewed as it is not working.
Taking 60 good players away from the clubs is hurting the competition.
How long do we have to put up with this.
Also the cup finals will not be held at Hindmarsh Stadium this year. Another disappointment for the players who dream of playing on the pitch.

Why is it that in SA the 15s play in the Premier League competition but in the other states their 17s NTC team play in Premier League and the 15s play in reserve grade?

I agree lb I have said this before that the NTC should be in Prems, FFSA 15's in Reserves and the FFSA 13/14's got to the 17's where they will still get good games and in doing this all teams will be in groups that allow there coaches to coach the games at a good standard. The girls may not complain but really if all there looking forward to is Coffs then the system is not working. All this is doing is turning the leagues into who can score more, not exactly the greatest attitude for teams but now its not how you play the game its by how much. To solve this you either moves the teams or remove goal difference and go back to just points, otherwise if one team wins by 15 all other teams have to do the same thing to stay in touch.
