Not a great result but was a good hitout for us as we build towards round 1.Bomber wrote:Polonia 1 Payneham Postel 2 (Res 5-0) so I was told
All the best to Payneham this year!
Also hope their keeper's injury isn't too bad.
Went for a dive to make a save and he either popped his shoulder or dislocated his elbow.
Either way he looked really distressed walking off.

Thanks for asking about our keeper Bomber.
He dislocated his elbow and he needs more scans on the joint. (posssible ligament and tendon damage)
For the squirmish, he has ripped the bicep and tricp of the bone.
I think Stenner will go bananas watching from the sidelines. I think they will be drawing straws at training on who goes in goals. Strong teams this year in Div 3!

A's Murray Bridge 2 - Mt.Barker 0
B's Murray Bridge 0 - Mt.Barker 4
Guy in the b grade scoring a average goal then ripping his shirt off and celebrating like he just won the world cup was a good laugh! Guess ya never know when it might be ya last!

I'm guessing the vipers are on the way back to div3, what happened down there? I remember such a solid side that went to Div1 only 2yr agoswiss maestro wrote:Vipers vs Hahndorf

Re: Recent trial games
Let's not forget it's only a trial game.
Why is half a day at home more tiring than a week at work?

Re: Recent trial games
Vipers missing half a team as they were all at a wedding! Still a little embarrassing for these squad players wanting to play A grade. Fairly sure results will rapidly Improve.spooky1972 wrote:I'm guessing the vipers are on the way back to div3, what happened down there? What went down Swanny?
Re: Recent trial games
The newly formed Saturday Div5 team at Parafield Gardens (last years Colts) had a trial
game against the Downs C team today the boys had a good day out beating the old foe
8-2 it was great to see Nobby who Ref'd the game barefoot and ORB who's was there
to support his 2 sons play, the younger of the 2 I believe is playing U/16's this year
and must get his talent from his mum
Cheers for the game all the best until Rnd 1 .....!

Re: Recent trial games
Yet again we see West Adelaide causing trouble.... Last week against Monarchs the ref was ready to abandoned the game ....swannsong wrote:West Adelaide Raptors ( 2 ) Southern Knights ( 1 ) ... game abandoned before half time.

Re: Recent trial games
If every game was abandoned for similar incidents then games wouldn't finish very often, referee was truly awfulJonny Lidon wrote:Yet again we see West Adelaide causing trouble....
