Aldinga 2015
Aldinga Sharks have started pre season training as of last night. We are currently inviting anyone who wishes to join a family friendly club to come down and see what we're about. Training's are being held at Shark Park, Port Rd Aldinga every Wednesday and Friday night from 6:30pm sharp.
We will be competing in the Sunday Div 3 competition after our successful inaugural year. We will also be fielding two Saturday teams this year. The Saturday teams will only be training on Wednesdays at this stage (same time). Any interested players please contact me directly on here and I'll answer any questions you might have. Cheers

Just to add,the Saturday teams should be starting in Div 4 this season. The majority of the lads come from a team who won the reserves Southern cup last year and have won Div 4b for the last two years, wouldn't want anyone to think we were lazy because we only train once a week.

Well if you're that good, why bother training twice a week lolreddevil wrote:Hatchet Squad wrote:Aldinga Sharks have started pre season training as of last night. mmm when one . who wasnt without excuses as to why one.. couldnt play.. takes up a coaching role.. suddenly remembers how why one becomes an expert all of a sudden... so the moral of the story is dont take offence to anyone who passes comment on your new found career. as one will be hear all the excuses .. one used to hear from you ... yeah

Will the Saturday reserves team train with the Saturday first team squad at Aldinga??? Unlike what happened last season at McLaren District.Hatchet Squad wrote:Well if you're that good, why bother training twice a week lolreddevil wrote:Hatchet Squad wrote:Aldinga Sharks have started pre season training as of last night. Re: Aldinga 2015
Ok now I've worked it out. Yes I did have a lot of niggling injuries and an injury that put me out for half a season, as you well know. I don't know why you would think I profess to be an expert though. I have a desire to still be involved at the club without the need to put my boots on. I don't see what is wrong with that. I'd like to think I've learned quite a lot from my past coachesHatchet Squad wrote:Huh?dr bronski wrote:mmm when one . who wasnt without excuses as to why one.. couldnt play.. takes up a coaching role.. suddenly remembers how why one becomes an expert all of a sudden... so the moral of the story is dont take offence to anyone who passes comment on your new found career. as one will be hear all the excuses .. one used to hear from you ... yeah
I have a long long way to go and who knows I might not succeed but I'm willing to give it a shot nonetheless.

Re: Aldinga 2015
38 players out so far for Sunday teams so looking good. Massive shuffle of players this year due to first team retirements and solid new players coming on board. Still waiting on a few of the young lads from last year to make an appearance.

Re: Aldinga 2015
well congrats on your win hatchet. iam afraid i didnt see it cos i stayed home to watch adelaide utd throw away yet another game then straight over to seaford to see rangers v south coast. 0 0 AT HT then south coast shocked us by going 2 up. we needed the wake up and ross hawkes duly restored parity with a brace. in my opinion if the game had gone on for a few minutes more we could have won as we seemed to be much stronger at the finish.cheers.

My Guess -Not until after the closing date for team nominations, usually towards the end of February.
Allow couple weeks after that to do the Prelim Cup Draw and fixtures

What would you like me to post?THE ORAKLE wrote:its all gone bloody quiet on this thread. has your computer crashed hatchett.
Numbers at training? Injury reports? Team selections?
We haven't even kicked off the season proper yet. I'm sure there will be a div 3 thread. We can all take the piss out of each other then.

hey,all us spectators are beautiful people living in a democratic country at this moment in time so we can say whatever we like. so enjoy the freedom while we still have it before some stupid bugger in govt sells it to someone from china, usa, russia or mars.

Well done you beat a promoted div 4 side and scored the majority of your goals against 10 men. Imagine if we'd played a decent div 1 side We couldve copped a hidingKnight15 wrote:We whinged every time we scored so your right we whinged a lotHatchet Squad wrote:I could begin with Knights but I don't have enough time
