from what i saw, campbelltown lost a few of their prems from last yr.. this year they brought their complete 17's team up to play reserves and prems, based solely on the fact that the 17's one the league last season and thought it was only fair on them that they ALL go up and play in that league, regardless of the fact that other players may have been better... which is a little odd, especially if they wanted to improve from last season. Since they've done this it could be said that some of them are in the prems so therefore could be a younger team... i could be wrong but that's what i've heard.. :P

Well that would explain it.. kinda. ..and then also with half of their previous defence either not playing or being at different clubs could also explain the 15-1 result!

Didn't realize there was a topic for scores, haven't been on here in awhile. My bad courtz!

As previously posted Vale went down to Gawler 1-0 in the reserves. Lauren {not sure of her last name} scored for Gawler with in 2 minutes of kick off.

Unfortunately we also went down in the prems 3-1. The goals scorers were Rachael Storic (2) and Cindy Beniost (1) for Gawler and Mary-Rose with a sweetly pulled off cross/shot for the Vale! :D

Personally it wasn't the return to premier league soccer that me or anyone else at the vale wanted but it has given us a lot to think about and improve for the season ahead.

PHE 3-4 Port lion

phe were leading 3-0 at start of second half..
mattig - what happened in this game?? Did Para Hills East lose it or did Pirates really give them a run for their money????

And Bill - who are the gun players you speak of at Pirates?? Did they recruit after last season?? Because I heard they lost some of their players... I know one went to Olympic.

1 or 2 went to olympic

they still have a pretty talented team, i know they got some players from a couple of local schools and they have seemed to have fitted in well.

from the PHE/ Port Lion game, PHE gave away 2 penalites in the second half and lost a defender down to injury

Certainly 1 or 2 players don't make a team... Port was a pretty organised set-up last season and should continue to be so this year....

Your rite pebbles campbelltown have a had a massive squad change, so many youngsters, we lost a few solid prem players which is dissapointing. Half the prem teams squad has changed, as for the reserves, much more solid side this year, esp one new player who is gun midfielder.

But I must say thou those u17 players are un experianced, yet there gonna take time to get used to the fast paced prem league, but ill tell u rite now with proper training and few years experiance there gonna be awsome players, u can tell when u watch them.
