But according to your media we're in form because we scored loads against some chicken farmers from the ACT.Bomber wrote:Australia v England I believe coming up? Reckon we could rest a few here.

Re: One dayers
Funny how more was made of "The Big Show" scoring a 130odd in a losing team that Bell smashing 180odd. I'm sure that even his ego would admit he would rather have won.

Re: One dayers
I heard we won, even though we didnt try that much? Good for the WC warm ups I suppose. GIAE, any issues with our team, captain, commentators this week?

Morgan not getting MOM - whinge, didn't do enough to win
Warner in trouble AGAIN - if he did something wrong, he'll get fined (minor matter) or suspended (more than minor matter)

So now my opinion on who should have won the MOM is a whinge.Bomber wrote:God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:I heard we won, even though we didnt try that much? Good for the WC warm ups I suppose. GIAE, any issues with our team, captain, commentators this week?

NoBomber wrote:Yes, it just HAD to be an english player. He didn't win, so get over it. Is he even english?
So the best player has to be from the winning team?
Re: One dayers
Personally I don't think the best player has to be on the winning team, but over the years have heard commentators say things like "if they'd have won he'd have got man of the match" and thought it really shouldn't matter who won.
How ironic is my avatar?

Re: One dayers
I actually agree, but its rare. I don't usually even care who gets man of the match award - its a team game. Just a matter of accepting the "umpire's" decision.Cloister wrote:Personally I don't think the best player has to be on the winning team, but over the years have heard commentators say things like "if they'd have won he'd have got man of the match" and thought it really shouldn't matter who won.

Re: One dayers
Seeing as you accuse me of bias and whingeing, how is it racist to tell someone to speak English. The irony though is that the Indian probably speak it better than the convicts.

I am English in an English speaking country. If you're going to insult me in any other language then you should have the balls to say it so I can understand it

I must say I was grateful when in South Europe last year, almost everyone spoke/responded in English to me, as I only knew swear words or words like "beer" or "money" or "where's the toilet."God is an Englishman wrote:Speak whatever language amongst themselves but if you want to talk to me it will be in English.Bomber wrote:

Have found the same, so many people speak English in other countries. Thats their prerogative.Bomber wrote: I must say I was grateful when in South Europe last year, almost everyone spoke/responded in English to me, as I only knew swear words or words like "beer" or "money" or "where's the toilet."
