Went to the Para Hills/WAB u 15s game on friday night. Was keen to see what the hype was about after reading the topics on here.
As an independent observer I stood with the Para supporters - must say great club and atmosphere. Well done to them.
I agree with the reviews about the game - Para too good in the end.
But I am also interested in the fact that from what I understand the majority of the best players in the game were development squad players.
The best striker on the pitch was the red head Jarryd from Para Hills and the two best for WAB were their keeper who kept WAB in the game second half - is it Munro and centre back first name Patrick (sorry dont know if names correct just passing on what i was told). All three are in the U14 development squad I am told. I believe some of the others are U15 development squad players too.
It makes me question people who attack the U14 development squad and also those who are keen to know the best players in the U14 comp when it seems to me the best are playing U15's and some in U17's?
Anyway just putting some comments out there.
