I don't think West Beach will be complaining about the dark horse tag, but they did just miss out on promotion to Div 1 on the last day of the season, so not sure if the cap fits..

Are you a player or supporter? we have played 1 game & already you calling beach the dark horse. As in stretch's post, Beach did miss out on going to div 1 in the last game of last season. So I think Beach is more than a dark horse to go places this season.

no.14 got a couple for them from memory, good young player that one. Th ex-Athelstone striker out there didnt get on the board, but did create one.

Also I heard the late equaliser from Raptors was a stunner

Good game at Vista's ground yesterday from everyone involved. The Bulldogs were very competitve throughout and although I think Vista were in control for alot of the match, had they taken a chance or 2 it might have been different.

The ref had a pretty good game and deserves some credit. He let alot of little things go in the first 20 minutes and was consistent throughout. And he didn't mind you talking to him through the game - even though I couldn't understand him when he talked back. I think that's generally what all us players want! As a result there was no agro between players at all.

We get to play the Bulldogs again in 2 weeks in the cup. It's a bit like Liverpool and Chelsea always playing each other. The aggreaget score is now 5-5 after 2 games..

Go to go and reapply heat packs on sore back now.

it was sarcasm my friend... it was a simple tap-in, but it wasnt luck, as the same player had the ball fall to his feet in simialir manner yet the linesman somehow called him offisde when he was behind the striker who originally shot.
