According to an article I read in the Guardian - this award requires a degree of good behaviour. So I guess like the brownlow, he's ineligible.

It's got to be Mueller in my opinion.

How is Mourinho nominated for the coaches award?
Re: Men’s shortlists for FIFA Ballon d’Or 2014 revealed
I dont know about a German player. There was not really 1 individual player that completely shone for the team. Like a stereotypical german machine, they were a cohesive unit that worked together successfully, but on an individual level, although they were great, their not on best of the year material. Muller had a great year and so did Lahm, and Neuer deserves a mention. Maybe Ronaldo, Robben and Messi in that order. Or Ronaldo, Neuer/Muller and Messi. Beyond me that Suarez didnt get a nomination.

Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.

It's not a 'Dickhead of the Year' award.COYR98 wrote:Beyond me that Suarez didnt get a nomination.

Yeah cause Messi's tax charges and Ronaldo's rape case stopped them from being nominated
Re: Men’s shortlists for FIFA Ballon d’Or 2014 revealed
Suarez was banned, hence his non-inclusion. Kind of like not choosing Conte for the coaching award in 2012 when he had been banned.

Given the goal scoring records he's broken of late you really can't go past Messi - but Keep an eye out for Neuer as a dark horse.
