People are free to support who they want how they want as long as its support.

so having a voice of opinion is not supporting your club? you have to be joking me...
please show me in your aufc supporters handbook where it says 'supporting' means bending over and taking it with pleasure?
while your at it can you please tell me how long you have been a supporter of AUFC?

GIAE by your logic.. one cannot support Australia AND GreeceGod is an Englishman wrote:So, who do you support if man u play olympiacos?MegaBonus wrote:Other than WAH and Olympiakos....Man U.....
In the 70's we only ever had English football to watch on TV (who was the host with the moustache on the BBC???), so even non-English migrants took a keen interest in the English game. Its the 1979 FA Cup Final (first game I can remember), my father was a keen Liverpool fan and for some reason was going for Arsenal....In spite, I chose Man U who were also the underdogs.....that bloody Sunderland with the afro got the winner in the last minute....
back to your question.. I was in that exact pickle last season to be exact.. champions league final and have to say it was quite a strange feeling.. I couldn't really support either team but supported both at the same time.. feelings of being torn, joy and sadness at the same time.. weird feeling
btw mega.. u cant of picked better teams to support

Yes you explained about real madrid v athletico madrid, but what about australia v greece?
Re: Why do you support your club?
ok so that was a typo on my behalf.. didn't mean champs league final.. meant the champs league matches between man utd and olympiakos

Re: Why do you support your club?
id be going for both and against both at the same time.. id buy two strips, cut them in half and stitch them up together
so you see.. one can support (true support) of more than one team.. even at the same time

I think it was 1995. Nottingham Forest did an Australian tour and played Adelaide City at Hindmarsh.ozzie owl wrote:Continuing the topic.
First time you saw your team play live?
1967 : Sheff Wed v Leeds at Hillsborough.
It was pretty exciting to actually get to see them play.
