Kosta United wrote:well done united.. thats a true outright pumping espcially for a team who plays in a league which is supposed to have the best defense in the world
cant believe i missed the game
still on the the treble
Roma have a woeful defence in chixu and mexes?????
although they only conceded 5 goals in 9 champions league games and have the 2nd best defensive record this year in serie a.
just shows the lack of talent in those two when the heat is actually on
diego i'll be the first to admit i know sweet FA of serie A teams, but my comment was regarding the defensive mind set of the entire serie A not specifically roma
so by playing week in week out in a defensive league you would assume roma know a thing or two about defending, specially against an attack minded team like united....

I call it having strong defenses, not playing in a defensive league.

I'd usually turn off the set and get some extra sleep when the score blows out in CL but couldn't help but keep watching this one. Even their fans impressed me, their support forced Utd forward all night.
Can't say the English don't deserve it, they have lead Europe when it comes to investing in the game. Can't see the Italians being a force again in Europe for at least 2 years.
Roma can't be too disappointed, it was a shocking effort but considering that they finished fifth last year making the top 8 was a fair achievement.
every1 loves free flowin attacking football... i changed my undies 4 times last nite, and that was jst afta the 1st half haha

year fair comment but either way you wanna call it, its very defensive so the teams should be used to playing to their battlehardened defensive systems
this is why the 7-1 pumping is so hard for me to believe, cant wait to see it later

not quite! It was more shell shock that a team that finished bottom of their group last year could put on such a show
Roma have a young side (and not much depth) all the talk in the camp for the past two months is a CL campaign in two years time when the final is hosted in Rome. Doubt they ever thought they'd win it.
It's a true indication of Roma's form this year. When they have a near full squad they are great but once they lose a few there results are all over the shop, but as bad as Roma were, Utd were awesome.
Fergie used his 15+ years of European experience to a tee, he really uses the media to his advantage.
U will not believe the number of idiots who came up to me today paying me out cos Roma lost just because im Italian and the "great Italian defence" conceded 7 goals. Good thing they lost but why did they fucking have to embarass Italy.
romanista scum!!!! not even your knifes will help you now!!
forzaroma you were saying??
where were u after the pompey clash?
fratton park is a hard place to go, we lost, probably got in trouble down there as well...whats your point?? we played the 2nd best ranked team in italy as it stands and ripped them a new one imagine if we played the 25th or whatever your 2nd flight club is

I think hes pointing out quite rightly that you are fairweather supporter, like most ManUSA supporters... not to be seen when Rio justifies his 27m pound price tag... but when you rip to pieces and shambolic team who dropped their heads 20 minutes in, your basking in glory.
Just one point... because Carrick snatched a couple of goals and run riot in midfield against a team who basically gave up... does nto justify his price tag, I read this on F365 "Carrick is as much a 18.6m pound midfielder, as a hippopotimus is an elephant"

how does fuck off sound? i dont have the net at home...i posted monday morning on the pompey game so whats your point?? im not a fairweather supporter and i never said anything about rio or carrick you nonce. stop trying to be wikipedia...you dont know everything most times you dribble shite. if lazio or pool beat someone 7-1 you'd be the first giving other people shite. yes we lost 2 games in one week, am i worried??no, because we responded well and we are still in contention for 3 cups so LFTY get fucked
Updachels wrote:Amazing.... just amazing, who would have thought a team second in the Italian divicion conceding 7.......Come On you BLUES
What about in the World Cup when Serbia had only conceded 1 in qualifying and then let in 6 vs argentina. A strong defence will eventually have a nightmare match.
yeh but lfty it takes a great team 2 finish anotha team off in 20 mins
afta all wasnt every1 sayin that we would lose 2 roma.... they were the team that beat lyon?????

Also I was only stirring manUSA4life, he knows i know that he knows that i know that he knows that i know he not a fairweather supporter, far from it... i jsut help but give him shit, i try really hard not to, but i cant control it...
there should be a huge footballnews gathering of the liverpool, manUSA supporters if that is the final!

i dont wanna lose any game but i except its a distinct possibility, milan are a dangerous side and their defence wont be easily penetrated
