Junior Players Looking for a Club
All of the junior football trials are about to start in the coming weeks. Many of the trials are being conducted at the same time. At the end of the trials there can be many players who miss out on a place at some of the clubs and many of the trials at alternative clubs are already over. We all want as many kids as possible to play football and sometimes it is just a case of putting players in contact with those clubs who have available places or are willing to run extra teams if there are sufficient numbers.
So FootballNews is going to see if it can help out.
If you are a player who has missed out on a place at a club or has not been able to find a place at a club then send an email to juniors@footballnews.com.au with the following details:
*name
*suburb
*year of birth
*contact phone number
*email address
If you are a club who has players who have missed out at your trials but you want to offer those players some alternative options to play football elsewhere then send an email to juniors@footballnews.com.au with the following details of those players:
*name
*suburb
*year of birth
*contact phone number
*email address
If you are a club who has conducted their trials and still has space for extra players in the age group then please send an email to juniors@footballnews.com.au with the following details:
*club name
*location (suburb)
*age group
*number of spaces
*contact person, phone number and email address
If you are a club who would be willing to run an extra team in an age group if you had enough players then send an email to juniors@footballnews.com.au with the following details:
*club name
*location (suburb)
*age group
*minimum number of players you would require to run the team
*contact person, phone number and email address
What we will do at Footballnews is to try to put these players and clubs together so as many kids as possible get to play the beautiful game.
So FootballNews is going to see if it can help out.

Great idea but why does it take a FN forum to be proactive :?Push It wrote:Congrats this is a great idea well done Football News !

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
Are you going to wait until all trials are over before this happens, some clubs are not holding trials till the end of OCTOBER?
Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
I already have players and clubs sending in emails.
There is bit of a mismatch though, southern based players looking for clubs with north western based clubs looking for players.
If there are any southern based clubs looking for players in the U13 and up age groups please send in an email to juniors@footballnews.com.au

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
Port pirates and Modbury have not had their trials yet, would be a good idea to let everyone have their trials before we start grabbing players, would be fair don't you think??? or tell the kids that these teams are to still have trials and to come down
Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
Don't forget Salisbury United still have trials coming up too !

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
I know of a couple of good U11 (in 2015) players from Modbury were cut that might be looking for a new SSG club if anyone has a vacancy.

Would they be interested in U12s??? Toros will have a U11 squad (nearly full) but also a U12 which might be of interest (3 spots or so). Tad of a distance to travel but could be worth a look.
Get them to contact Nenad via ntadic@optusnet.com.au or the Junior Coordinator via gwpsrj@optusnet.com.au
cheers

I hear they have found a home now.
Good pick up for who got them, loss to Modbury.

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
The Western Toros Soccer Club is seeking players to finalise their U16JPL, U14JPL and U12JPL /JSL squads for the 2015 soccer season.
Field players are required for all squads as well as a Goalkeeper for the U16s.
The Club has two venues with Junior training predominantly held at Pennington Oval (Collins Street, Pennington), however in 2015 it is anticipated that several Junior matches will be held at Rushworth Reserve (Anson Street, Blair Athol). Both venues have clubrooms with Rushworth a lighted stadium and Pennington with lights for training under.
For 2015 Mr Mark Zito will be the Junior Coaching Director for the development of all Junior Players.
All Western Toros SC Coaches are accredited by the FFSA and hold the appropriate coaching qualifications.
Please contact the Western Toros SC: Sporting Director Mr Nenad Tadic on 0421 775 765 to discuss your interest in being in the squad.

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
Pauline,
If they are willing to make the travel to Toros (bit of a hike) then more than welcome for them to come out and see what the team is like. Currently Toros have players from Virginia, Murray Bridge and Sellicks coming to them, so for some distance isnt an issue.
email: gwpsrj@optusnet.com.au if this is of interest to them.
Cheers

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
There is an overseas family coming to Adelaide with two children born 2006 and 2003 looking for a club around the Norwood area. Any ideas on who might have space that is not too far away?

Re: Junior Players Looking for a Club
Now all the trials rush is over, we will unstick this topic and stop checking the juniors@footballnews.com.au email. If you have vacancies then feel welcome to add them to this topic for all to see as well as making a post in the "player finders" forum.
