Media "employees" always want to come up with the big scoop at clearly some have sources who are presumed reliable, but often piss-talkers. I remember recently someone (for the life of me cant remember who it was exactly though) admitting on radio they made up a story purely as the producer wanted to give the ratings a kick in the guts. It was either a 5AA or a TripleM footy bloke.
