Western Toros seeking expressions of interest to coach 2015

Post by geoff9559 »

Western Toros Soccer Club seeking Coaches for 2015
The Western Toros Soccer Club has its Junior base located in Pennington. We are a local not for profit National State League Club with a philosophy of developing players at all levels to the best of our ability and with the resources to hand.
This season has seen a number of new players join Western Toros, it is anticipated that with our Senior Teams improving and our current infrastructure available for Junior players, that 2015 will see a further increase in numbers requiring more coaching staff.

Therefore expressions of interest are sought from potential coaching applicants to coach Western Toros teams in Junior Premier League and Miniroos for the 2015 season.
Please submit a letter (no more than 2 pages) outlining your coaching credentials, experience and preferred age groups to coach, to the Sporting Director of Western Toros Soccer Club Mr Nenad Tadic by COB (5pm) Friday 12th of September 2014 (nenad@natec.com.au). For further information please contact Nenad on 0421 775 765.

only on their website is no advertising allowed from what was indicated.....others have already advertised in posts only a week ago on FN.....so I reckon a precedent was set.
If you saw the email it said that:

Dear All

I hope that you are well. As the season is flying by and clubs are preparing for the 2015 season, I would like to provide the following information in relation to the advertising of positions on FFSA and NPL Websites and junior trial dates;

1. Clubs that wish to place expression of interest and/or advertisements on the FFSA and NPL websites for coaching positions and/or players, can do so as of Monday 1 September 2014.
2. As per the discussions held at the Junior Delegates Meeting on 31 March 2014, it was agreed by the clubs that junior trials would not commence prior to the end of the season. As such trials may commence as of the week commencing 22 September 2014.

Regards

Wendy Carter
Operations Manager

So - I reckon I'm not stirring the pot as it does say FFSA and NPL websites (no mention of others) and how does one prepare for 2015 if you arent allowed to advertise for coaches in preparation for trials which everyone seems to hold immediately after the last round?? It was a strange tiding I thought. It'd be like we'll select players in late September / early October and due to advertising restrictions cant get coaches locked in until later........a worry if you have more teams than coaches and have given an undertaking to field these teams. Then it becomes like another thread where a parent is asked to step up and coach - we'd like coaches sorted prior to starting player selections and determining number of teams.....its all a bit horse and cart.. in a way.

cheers

Or perhaps it's because you've posted it in the wrong forum.

Elliot,

thanks for this....most seem to be senior positions for coaching on the link you've provided however worth a try.

I note you havent advised the other five Junior Coaching threads to move to this linked forum, but that's cool as this adds to the activity of the thread.

I will post in the other "Special Interest" Forum and you'll have seen that there's a similar post in the Coaches forum.

Still do you know how to 'sticky' like the Sturt Lions seeking Junior Coaches?

Cheers

sorry - Sturt Lions managed a 'sticky' for their Trials not seeking Coaches.

Getting in now before someone picks me up for the wrong information :-)

Still there's others who have listed Trial dates but havent managed to 'sticky' their thread.

cheers

Hello,

Thank you to coaches who have expressed their interest to coach at Western Toros SC in 2015, it is appreciated.

We still have positions available for Coaches in our U17JPL, U12JPL and U8/9 Miniroos Teams.

Please contact the club's Sporting Director, Mr Nenad Tadic on 0421 775 765 to discuss the roles available.

Cheers
