Uncle Cracker and a couple Florina boys were seen having a intense discussion with the former United captain.... is there a move on the cards in the near future?

he came to vista, didnt like the training.............said it was too much like hard work and he didn't feel the need to get fit, he wanted to go out on a saturday night, get wasted, roll in at 7am then play sunday league.......we sent him to the gully

The new lads from vista have told us their reasons for being at the Gully this year,surprisingly their stories are all the same...Goes like this......They said at vista last year they had won a game,so,when the team was SHARING their payment for winning the game ( a 750ml longneck ) on each occasion they were the last to have a mouthful out of the bottle. As they were responsible to put it in the bin they wipe the top of the bottle to one last bit out of it and a genie popped out and said you have one wish my poor little soul. They replied ...Ive been in Div2 for so long I just wish I could get somewhere........next thing they know their at Tilley Park.....and on $1.5million a year.

I do remember the gullys being in div 2 where they went nowhere for a long time before finally going down and down and down

Yes we did ! but where has vista been over those years

? The Gully did start to rebuild the team with younger players over those years and it is starting to pay off !

your right mr football, gully did go down to the lower echelons of the football league but when they came back they did so via league champions or runners up not via the back door or third,fourth spot.others did come up via the back door didnt they??? how bout your lot?? your last silverware was??? 94, div 6??

Still came back mate, yeah we came up from div 4 in the 3rd spot but then finished 3rd in div3 so obviously deserved to be there, then luckily again were promoted to div 2, we didn't chose that path it was handed to us but we have become a good div 2 team who deserve to be there, my main point was that they've sat in div 2 and done nothing as well!!

too true , you've proved over the past 4-5 years to be a good side that has had similiar stats for the last few years. not sure about the 3rd in div 3 so we deserve it?? but you have proved as a club and team(with bulldog at the helm) that you are capable of being around the mark in div 2.as for us sitting in div 2 and doing nothing ??? you must be referring to 5-7 years ago as that was gullys last time at this level otherwise don't quite understand as we've just got back so haven't had time to sit!! by adding "as well" i presume you mean you've done nothing ???
