I think BR would have had a long, long chat with Balo prior to even coming close to a medical. Pretty sure SG would have been on the phone too. Pretty sure no one has scored more goals in Seria A over the last 18 months than Balo.
This could be a fantastic piece of business. Gives us all sorts of options, and the opposition a lot more to worry about.

Think the first 2 games of the current season have shown where you should have spent your money. Sign Hummels, or Giorgio Chiellini, then you may have a back line you can start to build a title on. Far from out Sharpest, in fact I watched both games and we were poor. We do need a DM and another striker in my opinion. Take a look at last years final table and check out the goals against tally, only Chelsea, Everton and City conceded less. Take away our two horror results (man city and Liverpool) we were extremely solid.
