Such an easy start to fixture draw so they are likely to pick up some points here and there fairly soon. The aura they once had looks to have gone, but one bad game is just that. Either way, happy to see them lose!

I guess an early loss with highlight the need for reinforcements. This might force thru some transfers that are required.

Van Gaal has a habit of slow starts but eventually leads his teams to glory. imo United fans like myself didn't give Moyes time because he hadn't really proved himself trophy wise at any big clubs. Van Gaal euro glory with Barca etc., League champs with Bayern, Barca, and led a netherlands team which no one thought would go far to the Semi's. Someone as big as Van Gaal deserves time, he will get it. Now he needs the bloody funds...

Poor Van Gaal, two matches got only 1 point, that's even worse than Moyes. A good news is that Ancelotti said that Di Maria will join the United with about €70millions transfer fee

Di Maria is a good player, however I am glad to see that they are spending their money on positions that they don't need to reinforce.
