Have the coaches been confirmed? I would assume as MB has been asked to vacate the 1st team spot he'd be leaving the 15's?
It's strange how some clubs can (not saying this is the case at Birks, just a general observation) can post trial dates without having confirmed their coaches for the next year. What if the new/existing coach is not available those days?

West Torrens Birkalla trials will be run as per the SAP and STIC trials by the in house Technical team with all team coaches viewing and assesing the players as a group.

The Coaching staff for 2015 is being finalised presently, and will be advertised prior to trials.

The Junior Program will be in accordance with the National Currculum with all teams mandated to the playing style within that document and the 1-4-3-3 formation on game days. The Junior program will follow the differant developmental stages of the NC, and the club will now be offering internal elite squads and SAP programs through the year for identified players.

Our players will be offered developmnet, and developmet will be our culture at every stage of a players football jouney.

Do you have FFA/FFSA approval for the SAP programs, as I didn't think anyone in SA has yet

Interstate, special licences are approved by the governing body after the club/employed TD have given presentations of their planned program

The SAP programs are run internally for our own players and run by qualified SAP or B Licence Coaches. They are an internal program and only for our club members.

Another good reason to come to Birks next year.

I believe in NSW / VIC the clubs run them for the federation due to the larger numbers and therfore have to be registered by the federation to do so.

A good way to go and maybe for SA down the track

Arent the Birkalla trials too early???

Has to be from after the 22nd September as per letter sent to all clubs below:

Dear All

I hope that you are well. As the season is flying by and clubs are preparing for the 2015 season, I would like to provide the following information in relation to the advertising of positions on FFSA and NPL Websites and junior trial dates;

1. Clubs that wish to place expression of interest and/or advertisements on the FFSA and NPL websites for coaching positions and/or players, can do so as of Monday 1 September 2014.
2. As per the discussions held at the Junior Delegates Meeting on 31 March 2014, it was agreed by the clubs that junior trials would not commence prior to the end of the season. As such trials may commence as of the week commencing 22 September 2014.

Regards

Is this really happening in 2016? If clubs like Birkalla and Cumberland are in the State League next year does it mean their Junior teams play in an equivalent league? How does this affect clubs like Cove who have a strong junior program?

In 2016 all State league teams will be fielding JSL teams in the juniors, these will be aligned similar to the under 18s, all on the same Sunday Vs the same leagues all day, one after the other, this will help with volunteering, player movement and organising of referees, but what it wont help with is parents wanting their kids to play premier league, if they want to do this they will have to move clubs.
although some of the JSL teams are actually stronger than the JPL team, which change squads all the time.
